  • Bishop Eddie Long Illness – Cancer? Weight Loss? Sick?

    Update: January 15, 2017

    Bishop Eddie Long has sadly passed away.  He was 63-years-old.  A statement from his church explained that he battled cancer for a very long time.  His wife, Vanessa Long, filed for divorce in 2011 after four boys accused him of sexual misconduct.  A year later, Vanessa called off the divorce.

    Is Bishop Eddie Long sick? In the video at the bottom of this post, the church leader looks like he’s fighting a chronic illness.  He’s back in the news because of his weight loss, but many believe he has cancer of HIV.  The Bishop recently made an appearance at his New Birth Missionary Church.  Members of the congregation didn’t recognize the Bishop.

    Bishop Eddie Long recently admitted that he was struggling with a health challenge but he didn’t provide any details.  He explained that he was able to lose weight thanks to the healthy diet he maintains.  Twitter’s reaction to the church leader’s new look was unforgettable.  Check out some of our favorite tweets below.

  • Is Sean Penn Above the Law?

    In an affidavit written for Sean Penn’s lawsuit against Lee Daniels, Madonna denied that her former husband ever physically assaulted her.  Recent occurrences have us questioning whether Sean Penn is above the law.

    Can Madonna or anyone attached to Sean Penn be trusted? We have to question how trustworthy Sean Penn can be considering his willingness to interview one of the most dangerous, dishonest and grotesque human beings on the planet, Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman.

    Marc Rubio stated his belief that the interview was grotesque considering the fact that Penn conducted it while Joaquin Guzman was at large and evading authorities.

    “If one of these American actors who have benefited from the greatness of this country, who have made money from our free enterprise system, want to go fawn all over a criminal and a drug trafficker in their interviews, they have a Constitutional right to do it,” Rubio declared, “I find it grotesque.”

    Rolling Stone published the interview Penn conducted with Guzman shortly after El Chapo was arrested.  The actor met with Guzman to interview him regarding his plans to make a biographical film.

    Who can forget the 87th Academy Awards when Penn presented the award for Best Picture to Mexican Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu.  “Who gave this son of a bitch his green card?” Penn asked.  Yet another Sean Penn blunder simply swept under the rug.

    Similar to the point in which Lee Daniels was making when he used Sean Penn as a metaphor of the issues the nation continues to face: What would happen if Terrence Howard travelled to Mexico in order to conduct an interview with Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman?

    Rapper Blac Youngsta was detained after withdrawing $200,000 from a Georgia Wells Fargo bank.  He had taken out the money to purchase himself a Mercedes-Maybach S600.

    Sam Benson, who goes by the name Blac Youngsta was arrested on Friday, January 8, 2015, outside an Atlanta, GA Wells Fargo Bank after being confused with a check fraudster.

    The rapper was confronted by officers with their guns drawn after Wells Fargo confused the rapper for a wanted fraudster cashing in on fraudulent checks.

    We are not certain how Wells Fargo could have made such a mistake.  The rapper did not cash a check instead he withdrew money from his own account.

    Despite the fact that Wells Fargo allowed the rapper to withdraw the money they called the police on him with the belief that he was a fraudster.  The reminded us of the recent false reports that have been made leading to the loss of innocent lives.

  • Do You think Snoop’s wife left him?

    You may remember Snoop’s beautiful family from his 2007 television show, ‘Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood‘.  The father of three may have messed up…

    Does the following Instagram post by Snoop’s wife of 26-years mean she is leaving the rapper? Shante Broadus posted the message below implying that she left the award-winning rapper.

    The couple has been together since high school yet nearly split in 2004.  Broadus also stated: “I want to meet someone who makes me feel the way music does” via Instagram.

    She didn’t stop there! She also posted an image that read: “Be with someone who will take care of you. Not materialistically but take care of your soul.” It’s definitely sounding like there’s trouble in paradise.

    We hope the best for the couple especially considering the fact that they have three beautiful children.  Snoop is yet to make a statement about the matter but we hope he makes things right.

    Snoop and Broadus renewed their vows back in 2008, 4-years after he cancelled the divorce he filed, stating: “I understand that I need my wife and my kids in my life so I threw the papers away. I don’t want to get a divorce.”

    Hopefully Snoop will have a similar moment of clarity in order to convince his Bae not to leave!

  • Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard Among Golden Globe Presenters

    Patience is a virtue. Us Empire fans are learning that the hard way with three months between us and our Empire-fix.  Until then lets explore what our favorite Empire cast members have been up to!

    The collaboration never ends when it comes to Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard.  The Empire stars will be presenters at Sunday’s Golden Globe Award ceremony in Los Angeles, California.

    The Hollywood Foreign Association also announced that Amy Schumer and Chris Evans will be helping out as presenters at the Golden Globes and the list is just getting started:
