That’s right, the U.S. men’s basketball team destroyed Serbia to win their third straight gold medal and Melo was very happy about it. That’s three gold medals in four tries for the New York Knicks superstar.

According to CBS Sports he first represented Team USA over a decade ago when the team won a bronze medal under Larry Brown. At 32-years-old, Melo was the oldest player on the team this year. It was quite amusing to see the younger players force him to use Snapchat which he eventually embraced.

The “WB” tattoo on Melo’s shoulder stands for “West Baltimore.” Melo wasn’t born in Maryland, instead, he was born in Brooklyn, New York. Many are unaware that his father is Puerto Rican, which explains why Melo has a Puerto Rico flag tattooed on his hand.

There’s one final piece of gold that the small forward is desperately attempting to get his hands on, the NBA Championship trophy. Is Galen Rupp Transgender?

Runner’s World reports that Galen Rupp won a bronze medal thanks to his 2:10:05 performance in Rio. Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya won the gold medal while Ethiopian’s Feyisa Lilesa was the silver medalist. Rupp’s medal collection continues to grow. In the 2012 Olympics he won the silver medal in the men’s 10,000 meters.

According to Team USA he doesn’t have any marathon experience yet Galen was able to endure the 26.2 mile race. Similar to other successful Olympians, including Jessica Javelet and Johnny Weir the Oregon native has been the victim of transgender rumors.

Rupp was born male and is still male. He is not transgender. You know that you are doing something right when you have critics. When people are willing to take the time to throw shade your way, it means that you have been able to move them. Whether they have chosen to say something positive or negative about you truly doesn’t matter because everyone is entitled to their opinion.

The nation’s largest companies are paying massive amounts of money to force people to pay them attention. You outperform those companies when you’re able to successfully grasp someone’s attention. Entertainment Tonight explains that Nicholas Scott “Nick” Cannon recently visited The Amber Rose Show where he was very honest about his ex-wife, Mariah Carey. While some celebrities can’t wait to throw shade at their ex-lovers, Nick did the exact opposite. The America’s Got Talent host stated that he wasn’t over their split.

According to Wetpaint Mimi has moved on to billionaire, James Packer, but Cannon has not been as fortunate. There have been rumors about him and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas being in a relationship but we don’t think he would have made certain statements to Amber Rose if him and Chilli were in a serious relationship.

Although Cannon is worth about $50 million he knows that education is priceless. Hopefully he was serious about attending Howard University, and if so, we can’t wait to see him graduate in 2020!

Blake Griffin, Baby Mama Expecting Their Second Child

TMZ reports that Blake Austin Griffin’s baby mama, Brynn Cameron, is currently pregnant with their second child. The couple have a son together who was born back in 2013. Brynn attended the University of Southern California where she played basketball. In 2006 she had a child with her ex-boyfriend, former NFL quarterback, Matt Leinart.

According to Black Sports Online Blake and Brynn were recently spotted on vacation in Hawaii. We love how confident she was about showing off her pregnant belly. There is nothing like being unapologetic about your physical appearance. That’s probably one of the many characteristics Blake loves about Brynn.

Who knows, Blake may end up on Empire soon, considering the fact that Fox has welcomed him into the family. That’s right, Fox has given a pilot presentation order to the NBA superstar’s animated comedy, Okie of Bel Air and we can’t wait to see it! Pat Riley and company have lost LeBron James and Dwyane Wade and they’re looking for a superstar. The 27-year-old could be the perfect person to fill the void. If Chris Bosh gets back to 100%, the two could lead the organization to the NBA Playoffs.
