    Daily Mail reports that Kendra Wilkinson Baskett helped Amber Rose celebrate her second annual SlutWalk this weekend.  Prior to the event she used her Instagram account to post a beautiful picture of herself dancing on a party bus.  The 31-year-old mother-of-two still has a beautiful body and she isn’t shy about showing it off!

    According to LAist the event exposes slut-shaming and sexual abuse.  Some people have the wrong perception of the celebration because of its title but don’t judge a book by its cover.  Stars like Kendra, Perez Hilton and Blac Chyna support the SlutWalk because they fully understand its intent.  Make sure you’re following Wilkinson on all of her social media accounts.

    Amber Rose recently clapped back at rapper, Benzino after he made negative comments about the event.  The former Love and Hip Hop star posted an image of Rose on Instagram explaining how happy he is to have a daughter that does not associate herself with the SlutWalk.  Rose didn’t waste any time before responding to the insult.

    The talk show host explained to Benzino that his daughter will most likely be insulted by someone in her life because she is beautiful.  Jealousy causes people to make negative comments about others especially since the evolution of social media.

    On episode 13 of Basketball Wives LA season 5 we watched LaTosha DJ Duffey and crew head to Portugal.  The DJ used her Twitter account to explain that she was missing the episode because she was setting up her son’s room in her new house.  Many people were surprised to hear that the DJ had a son.

    DJ Duffey is currently engaged to NBA agent, Iman Shokouhizadeh.  Her upcoming marriage won’t be her first.  After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington she got married to former NFL football player, Brian Jackson.  In 2010 he played for the New York Jets.  The cornerback also played for the New York Giants and the St. Louis Rams.  The couple had an adorable son.

    After the couple had their son Duffey was living in New York with Brian where she wasn’t happy.  A few months later she decided to move back to Texas and they got divorced.  The Texas native explains that being a single mother motivated her to become a DJ.  She had to provide for her son and she has been doing a great job:

    Only two episodes in and Empire Season 3 is already getting to business. Lucious is desperately trying to win back Cookie’s favor — first with lots of extravagant gifts, then with Biz Markie (yes, it was really him).

    Turns out, his song “Just a Friend” is how Lucious and Loretha met back in the day. In a flashback, we see her notice him and rap with him — of course, young Lucious is hooked, just like older Lucious.

    Even back then, young Lucious was determined to win Loretha’s heart, but she had a nerdy boyfriend named Barry who wanted a family, but Loretha wanted to pursue her interest in music. It’s no wonder Lucious and Loretha eventually found each other. But in present day, Lucious is just a friend and married to Anika, who finds Tariq’s teddy bear cam in Bella’s room. Lucious puts the kabosh on the bear. In another flashback, the audience learns that Tariq always wanted to hang with Lucious, but his mother told him the Lyon was trouble…

    Present day Lucious causes some trouble by arranging an anti-violence summit with city councilman Angelo Dubois, thinking that it’s something Cookie wants (it’s actually what Jamal wants). Jamal, though, is still having trouble performing on stage, having yet another breakdown as Lucious demands he perform. Andre and Jamal later compare medications and try to get through their troubles together.

    But actually, Angelo likes Cookie and Lucious senses that at the summit, showing his possessiveness over her to the councilman.

    Andre still hears Rhonda’s ghost’s voice and even tries to summon her. He tries to find comfort with Cookie, who also lost everything at one point. Finally, he decides to move on and move out of his and Rhonda’s old place, Unfortunately, police show up as Andre is moving boxes, imply that he could be robbing the house, and use brute force on him.

    The episode ends with a flash of a gun barrel.

    Washington Redskins wide receiver, DeSean Jackson will wear custom shoes on Sunday, October 2, 2016.  The Skins play the Cleveland Browns and Jackson will be wearing “Caution” cleats to protest police killings of African Americans.  The cleats have yellow caution tape on them and were designed by SolesBySir, whose real name is Marcus Rivera.

    DeSean wearing the shoes will definitely lead fans to share their opinions on police brutality.  San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick’s refusal to stand for the national anthem has been the most debated incident of the 2016 NFL season.  While there are some that agree with Colin’s actions there are others that think he’s out of line.

    DeSean made it clear that he doesn’t want to group all police officers as racist nor do Black Lives Matter.  The NFL star wants his shoes to stand alone as his personal way of shedding light on the issue.  That’s exactly what they’ll do thanks to the bright yellow “Caution” tape on them.

    The tape symbolizes one of the most vivid memories after an innocent life is lost.  After the damage is done, the tape is used as a barrier, protecting the scene of the murder.  Hopefully they’ll motivate officers to use their best judgement before deciding to take a person’s life.

    Staten Island Live reports that Peter “Pete” Davidson was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease when he was 17-years-old.  The disease causes inflammation in the gut leading to severe stomach pain.  As a result of the condition, Pete was unable to eat nor perform.  The Staten Island native tried numerous drugs yet marijuana was the only one that worked.

    Rick Ross’ ex-fiancée, Lira Galore, recently appeared on Iyanla: Fix My Life‘s “House of Healing: The Myth of the Angry Black Woman, Part 4.” Iyanla wants Lira to give voice to her inner hurt little girl who was abandoned by her father.  Iyanla has Michael sit-in as Galore’s father and advises Lira to forgive for what he has done.

    Galore forgives her father for abandoning her and robbing her from her innocence.  Iyanla interrupts and tells Lira to forgive her father for failing to teach her what to expect from men.  Galore begins to break down but eventually regains her composure.  She then forgives her father for failing to protect her and not letting her be a daddy’s girl.

    Galore also forgives her dad for being a father figure to children that were not his.  Iyanla then advises her to forgive herself.  Galore forgives herself for the mistakes she made in search for his love.  The scene is very sad but it can be used to motivate fathers who have abandoned their children:
    In previous episodes Lira explained that her father abandoned her at a young age and married a white woman.  She also discusses being engaged to Rick Ross.  She says that their relationship started off great but then he changed and began lying and doing sneaky things behind her back.

    Shawty Lo’s friends and family members honored him at a vigil in Atlanta.  After his wake, the rapper’s loved ones took his body to his favorite strip club, the Blue Flame Lounge located on Harwell Rd in Atlanta.  Scroll down to see casket pictures of the emcee whose real name was Carlos Walker.

    Blue Flame was the last place Shawty Lo was seen alive.  He passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 around 2 AM.  The 40-year-old was on his way home from the strip club.  His casket was brought to the club in a hearse on Friday, September 30.  the rapper’s funeral was held on Saturday, October 1 at noon.

    The 911 call from the incident was recently released and is very difficult to listen to.  The operator asked if the driver was still inside the vehicle and the officer explains that he was ejected.  The officer further explains that there were two injured women outside the vehicle.  Officers later found Shawty Lo, not breathing in the car.

    The rapper passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 which was his 40th birthday.  It’s not how long your life is that matters, it’s how good it is.  The rapper’s loved ones make it clear that he lived a very good life.

    Macon reports that Atlanta police are investigating the death of Diane McIver, the wife of lawyer, Claud “Tex” McIver.  The Atlanta attorney claims that he was worried about Black Lives Matter protestors when he accidentally shot his wife.  The tragic incident occurred on Sunday, August 25, 2016 near Piedmont Park, an urban park in Atlanta.

    Piedmont Park is where a black man was found dead hanging from a tree on Thursday, July 7, 2016.  The park has become the setting for numerous Black Lives Matter rallies in the past few months.  According to 11 Alive Diane and Claud were riding in a car with a friend when Diane handed a gun to Claud, who was in the backseat.

    Diane handed Tex the gun because they were concerned about protestors approaching the vehicle.  I think they should have relied on the vehicle being much faster than a person approaching it.  If they were afraid, they could have ran a red light to get away from a person approaching their vehicle.They drove through the Piedmont Park area without incident but the gun went off in Tex’s hands minutes later.  The bullet went through the front passenger seat and into Diane’s back.  The driver rushed Diane to Emory hospital because she’s a regular patient there but she passed away in surgery.

    Abedi Pele is alive.  The rumor that he is dead is false.  The false reports claimed that the legendary athlete passed away in France on Friday, August 30, 2016.  In a recent interview Pele explains that the story was a hoax.  The 51-year-old’s son, Andre Ayew, also confirmed that his father is alive.  Ayew plays for West Ham United.

    The former Ghanaian footballer was born on November 5, 1964 and is currently 51-years-old.  The talented midfielder was the captain of the Ghana national team.  From 1988 to 1993 he dominated the game, establishing himself as one of the best African soccer players of all-time.  Let’s discuss some of the other amazing African soccer players who were just as amazing as Abedi.

    Samuel Eto’o is a Cameroonian player who is arguably the greatest African footballer of all-time.  He currently plays striker for the Turkish team Antalyaspor.  He won the African Player of the Year award three consecutive time in 2003, 2004 and 2005.  He won the award for a record-breaking fourth time in 2010.

    George Weah is another former player who many consider the best African footballer of all-time.  He is a Liberian who played striker similar to Eto’o.  While Eto’o was named African Player of the Year four times Weah won the award three times: 1989, 1994 and 1995.  Pele also won the award three times: 1991, 1992 and 1993.

    Netflix’s web television series, Marvel’s Luke Cage has featured numerous talented musical guests and this article will discuss each one.  Empire provided the blueprint on using music to make a show undeniable and Luke Cage has done a great job following it.  There’s nothing better than the musical performances at Harlem’s Paradise.

    The show’s writers do a wonderful job using the music to bring the action scenes to live.  Some of the talented artists that have made appearances on the series include Raphael Saadiq, Faith Evans, Charles Bradley, The Delfonics, Method Man and Jidenna.
