    Who Plays The Beast In The New Beauty And The Beast?

    Dan Stevens is the actor who plays the Beast in the new Beauty and the Beast movie.  The musical film is scheduled to be released on March 17, 2017.  Stevens is an English actor who is currently 34-years old.  He is best known for his role as Matthew Crawley in Downtown Abbey.  Emma Watson will play Belle in the film.

    The original Beauty and the Beast fairy tale was written by French novelist, Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve.  The story was published in 1740.  Walt Disney originally attempted to adapt the fairy tale into a movie in the 1930s.  Disney enjoyed massive success with the 1989 film, The Little Mermaid leading the company to move forward with Beauty and the Beast.

    In the original story, the Beast is a princes who lost his father at a very young age.  He wasn’t the selfish individual that Disney portrays him to be.  He refuses to marry his governess so she turns him into a beast.  A fairy promises to turn him back into a human if he can find someone that is willing to love him.

    The United States isn’t the only country that loves the story.  Actor, Jackie Chan helped bring the film to China by dubbing the Beast’s voice for the Chinese translation of the movie.  In the video below he performs the film’s title track, “Mandarin” with Sarah Chen:

  • Beyonce Found Dead? 2016 Hoax

    Status: Alive

    Was Beyonce found dead? No, the 35-year-old singer is alive and well.  The rumor started after people found out that she was performing at the 2016 Country Music Awards.  She performed alongside The Dixie Chicks, creating a magical experience of blended music.  Queen Bey’s first foray onto the country music scene was flawless.

    Beyonce performed “Daddy Lessons” at the CMA Awards.  The song is from her 2016 album Lemonade.  It was written and produced by Beyonce, Wynter Gordon, Kevin Cossom and Alex Delicata.  The song debuted on the Billboard charts at number 41.

    Beyonce wore a beautiful, all-white dress while The Dixie Chicks wore black.  The performance came at a perfect time with many of the singer’s fans panicking after hearing the news that she was dead.  The “surprise” performance was one of the worst kept secrets ever.  Rumors about the performance arose Tuesday evening, leading to the rumors that she was actually found dead.
    Queen Bey’s performance created a show-stopping moment.  The fact that she was alongside The Dixie Chicks made the event legendary.

    You know you’re on another level when you have The Dixie Chicks as backup singers.  When the song ended, Beyonce received an extended standing ovation.

  • Steve Harvey Son In Law Kareem Hawthrone

    Steve Harvey’s son-in-law, Kareem Hawthrone is being accused of scamming Morehouse and Spelman College alumni with $4,000 VIP packages.  Hawthrone runs the company, T-12 Entertainment.  The company promised that the packages would include an amazing night of bottle popping at the Georgia Aquarium located in Atlanta.

    The alumni students claim that the liquor at the event was watered down and instead of couches they were forced to sit on IKEA futons.  They further complained that they were unable to see the aquarium’s underwater animals because it was too dark.  The theme of the event was “Party With The Sharks” yet partygoers complain that there were no sharks in the water.

    Morgan and Kareem got married on October 12, 2013.  Morgan attended Spelman while Hakeem attended Morehouse.  They met back in 2006.  At the time, Morgan was a sophomore.  Kareem’s fraternity hosted the Miss Black and Gold pageant which Morgan participated in.

    Hopefully Morgan will stand by her man’s side through this drama.  Partygoers had a long list of complaints.  They claim that the music was horrible and the DJ unplugged his computer in the middle of his set and decided to leave.  According to rumors, Hawthrone made over $300,000 in profit.  Do you think Steve will bail his son-in-law out of this one?

  • Tristan Thompson Khloe Tattoo, New Back Ink

    Tristan Thompson’s new Khloe Kardashian back tattoo broke the Internet today.  Twitter went crazy but then actual pictures of the NBA player’s back were shared.  The Cleveland Cavaliers’ superstar has never received this much attention and we’re hoping he’ll be able to handle it.  LeBron James’ celebrity has definitely played a major role in the couple’s new relationship.

    Daniel “Boobie” Gibson was one of the first NBA players to be impacted by the LeBron effect.  He was drafted to the Cavaliers in 2006 and played with LeBron from 2006 to 2010.  Him and LeBron became good friends and Boobie became a celebrity.  All the attention earned him a relationship with singer, Keyshia Cole.  The couple got married in 2011 and they have a son named Daniel Gibson, Jr.

    Daniel’s career flourished until LeBron decided to take his talents to South Beach.  Gibson’s flaws were revealed leading him to retire in 2013.  A year later, him and Keyshia separated.  Tristan’s future is more secure considering the Kardashian effect.  Khloe is on another level, balancing any potential moves by LeBron.

  • Ashley Rose Favors Death, Atlanta, Car Accident

    Ashley Rose Favors Death

    Ashley Rose Favors’ death was acknowledged by memoriam at the end credits of Atlanta‘s “The Jacket” episode.  On June 15, 2016, Favors passed away in a car accident.  Ashley worked in wardrobe for the 2017 film, Jacob’s Ladder.  The film stars Michael Ealy, Karla Souza, Nicole Beharie and Jesse Williams.

     

    Ashley lost her life while driving home from the set of the film.  Prior to her work on Jacob’s Ladder, she was the key costumer on the 2016 drama, Mosaic.

    The following Facebook post, by Rick Kline, explains that Favors was a member of the Atlanta film community.  This is why the dedication appeared in the credits of the FX series.  Many of the show’s cast members and writing staff are Atlanta natives.

    The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees also expressed kind words about Ashley:

    In the Facebook post above, IATSE mentions the following Go Fund Me account to help Ashley’s family with expenses.  As of Wednesday, November 2, 2016 the campaign has raised $14,131, surpassing its $10,000 goal.

    You have to love Donald Glover for everything that he’s done for the African American entertainment community.  Minus his contributions, people like Ashley Rose Favors wouldn’t receive a dedication.  The talented actor, writer and musician recently appeared on Ellen:

  • When Will ‘Empire’ Return? The World Series Has Delayed The Lyons

    Like every year on Fox, the World Series has delayed new episodes of our favorite shows — including Empire. After all, the MLB championship only happens once every October and this year, the Cubs or the Indians have the chance to win it all for the first time in ages. But that means the continuing saga of Empire Entertainment and the Lyon family is currently on hold. So when will Empire return, especially now that the Cubs have forced a 7th and final game of the World Series? I’m happy to tell you it will definitely be next week.

    When Will Empire Return?

    I mean, there was a chance that a new episode of Empire could’ve aired this week, had the Cleveland Indians locked down the World Series title. But those Cubs came back to win and tied up the series 3-3, forcing a decisive Game 7 in a Best of Seven series. That means there can’t be more games than seven and thus this is the final game. Empire will definitely return next week to the relief of fans everywhere.

    As for the World Series, it should be a grand and long-awaited celebration for either Chicago or Cleveland either way.

  • How Many Times Has Blake Shelton Won The Voice?

    Blake Shelton has been the winning coach on The Voice four times.  He coached the winning singers in the show’s second, third, fourth and seventh seasons.  Jermaine Paul won the second season, Cassadee Pope won season 3, Danielle Bradbery won season 4 and Craig Wayne Boyd won the seventh season.

    This season Blake will have to adapt to the competition’s real-time voting if he plans to win.  Fans watching The Voice on Monday, November 7, 2016 will vote in real-time through either Twitter or The Voice‘s app.

    How Many Times Has Blake Shelton Won The Voice?

    The state of Texas is being very-well represented on the show’s 11th season.  There’s currently a 25 percent chance that the winner of The Voice will be a Texas native.  Five out of the 20 remaining contestants on the reality talent show are Texans and Blake coaches 3 of them.

    Sundance Head is from Houston, Texas.  Austin Allsup represents Fort Worth and Dana Harper is from Dallas.  Adam Levine coaches Simone Gundy who is from Arlington, TX.  Finally, Alicia Keys coaches Josh Halverson who hails from Denton, TX.  As mentioned above, Blake Shelton coached season 7 winner, Craig Wayne Boyd.  The talented singer as born and raised in Dallas, TX.

    Season 4 winner, Danielle Bradbery was born in League City, TX and grew up in Cypress.

  • Alisha, The Walking Dead, Juliana Harkavy Joins Arrow Season 5

    Alisha from The Walking Dead aka Juliana Harkavy has joined the cast of Arrow.  The 31-year-old actress will play Tina Boland on The CW crime series.  As Alisha on The Walking Dead‘s fourth season, she played a former marine.  In the fourth episode of season 4, “Dead Weight” we find out that she’s a lesbian.

    Alisha’s girlfriend, Tara Chambler is played by actress, Alanna Masterson.  Tara was last seen in the first episode of season 7, “The Day Will Comes When You Won’t Be.” She appeared in a dream having dinner in Alexandria.  Sadly, Alisha died in the “Too Far Gone” episode.  Lizzie Samuels kills her by shooting her in the head.

    Juliana is best known for her role as Rebecca in the 2011 film, Dolphin Tale.  She was born on January 1, 1985 and is currently 31-years-old.  Her father, Michael Harkavy, is the former Senior Vice President of International Content and Creative Affairs for Warner Bros. consumer products.

    Juliana will have a recurring role on Arrow, as Tina Boland.  The character is a detective formerly of Central City.  Tina doesn’t hesitate to speak her mind and she doesn’t like Green Arrow.  Don’t miss Wednesdays episode of Arrow at 8/7c on The CW!

  • What Is Princess Love Real Name?

    Princess Love’s real name is Princess Pilipina Love Norwood.  In the past, many people have called the reality star out for using what they believed was her “stripper name.”  She worked as a dancer in Las Vegas before meeting Floyd Mayweather Jr.  Some doubted that her first name was actually Princess.

     

    Love and Hip Hop Hollywood‘s “Matrimony” episode cleared up any potential doubts about her new surname: Norwood.  The longtime couple finally said “I do.” The episode also cleared up any doubts about the reality star’s maiden name.  Ray J surprises Princess by bringing her dad, Hugh Love, to their wedding.

    At one point in the episode the couple was considering calling the wedding off.  Earlier in the season, Princess told Ray J that Brandi Boyd spent money that her husband, Max Boyd, gave her to open a clothing store.  Max gave Brandi the money for their son so he was very upset when he found out.

    Brandi told Princess about her poor decision and Princess told Ray.  Max and Ray are friends, so Ray helped Max find out that Brandi lied to him.

    This time, it was Brandi who couldn’t keep her mouth shut: Princess told Brandi that she met with an attorney about a prenup and Brandi told Ray about it.  Ray was very upset because Princess made the decision behind his back.  Luckily, Ray’s mother was able to convince Princess that marrying Ray was the right decision:
