    What Is The Soulja Boy Challenge?

    What is the Soulja Boy Challenge? People are imitating a recent interview the rapper had with VladTV.  During the interview, Soulja Boy discusses the time he had to shoot someone who tried to rob him.  Scroll to the YouTube video at the end of this post to see the original interview and you’ll understand why it inspired the #SouljaBoyChallenge.

    Multiple comedians have submitted #SouljaBoyChallenge videos.  The first Instagram video below show DC Young Fly’s hilarious imitation of the Atlanta emcee.  The rapper, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, has been animated since his 2007 hit, “Crank That” and the #SouljaBoyChallenge is exactly what his career needs right now.

The movie has premiered in some cities on Christmas for Oscar consideration and will open in theaters across the country on Jan. 6.

    At long last, the actor/musician’s The New Edition Story on BET will premiere on Jan. 24. The TV movie will chronicle the rise and fall of the iconic male singing group of the 1980s.  Gray plays Mike Bivins in the movie.

    The actor/singer can be seen as Langston Hughes in the upcoming movie Marshall. He has a role in the next Alien movie, called Alien: Covenant. Smollett will star opposite Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Billy Crudup, among others. The movie is set to be released in May 2017.

    The singer/actress has a role in the movie Burning Sands, which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and later be released on Netflix in March 2017. The film also stars Trevor Jackson, Alfre Woodard, Steve Harris, Tosin Cole, DeRon Horton and Trevante Rhodes.

    Desiigner’s new hairstyle broke the Internet.  Scroll down to see how Twitter reacted to his haircut.  Hilarious memes were shared, reminding us of Diddy and Yung Joc’s unforgettable 2016 hairstyles.  The rapper posted an Instagram video showing off some new music but his fans were distracted by his halfro.

    The “Panda” rapper is known for his unique style but his new hairstyle is too much.  The rapper recently signed with Kanye West’s GOOD Music imprint and he’s starting to remind us of Mr. West.  Kanye dyed his hair blond after his meltdown and we’re still trying to figure out why.  Check out Twitter’s reaction to Desiigner’s new haircut below!

  • Shooting At Meek Mill Concert – Oakdale Theater, CT

    Two people were murdered in a shooting after Meek Mill’s concert in Connecticut.  The incident occurred after the rapper’s show at the Toyota Oakdale Theater.  Two people died and two people were injured.  The two people that were injured are expected to survive.  The video at the end of this post shows Meek Mill exiting the venue.

    December 2016 has been real.  The Meek Mill concert shooting is one of many recent tragedies.  Atlanta rapper, Yung Mazi was recently shot along with Brooklyn rapper, Troy Ave.  Meek Mill was just getting back on his feet after being bullied by Drake earlier this year.  The shooting marks yet another obstacle he must overcome.

    Similar to the Yung Mazi and Troy Ave incidents, no one was arrested at the Meek Mill concert but the police are still looking for the shooter.


    Twitter users hoped the victims would survive as the news spread on social media.
    Something must be done about the violence throughout our nation.  Sad stories like this make it difficult to watch the news.

    Police officers will have to work hard in places like New York City tonight.  December 2016 has been deadly and we’re praying for everyone’s safety.

    LeBron James is not dead, he is alive.  The NBA superstar is 32-years-old but continues to dominate the game.  King James turned 32 on Friday, December 30, 2016.  Russell Westbrook’s skills have been praised this season but the Oklahoma City Thunder are currently number 6 in the Western Conference.  LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers are the number 1 team in the Eastern Conference.

    LeBron James is hoping to win his fourth NBA Championship this season.  The Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan comparisons are inevitable at this point in his career.  Kobe won five championships in his 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers.  Michael Jordan played 15 season in the NBA and won six championships.

    Is LeBron James Dead?

    The tweet explains that LeBron must play baseball to be considered the true goat.  Baseball is one reason LeBron has a chance to surpass Michael Jordan’s six championships.  In 1993, Jordan retired from the NBA.  The Chicago Bulls had won the NBA Championship in 1991, 1992 and 1993.

    Alongside Scottie Pippen, Jordan dominated the league.  While LeBron and Kobe struggle to win their championships, MJ made it look easy.  If Jordan didn’t retire, the he could have won 10 championships in a row.

    Ronda Rousey has some serious soul searching to do.  The mixed martial artist turns 30 on February 1, 2017 and she may want to retire.  She has been exposed.  She was a good fighter but her true gift is entertainment.  We fell in love with her personality not her fighting skills.  She’s no longer the confident fighter with all the right words.

    Is Drake and Jennifer Lopez’s relationship a publicity stunt to promote their new song? The two entertainers were seen in Las Vegas last night.  They danced at the Winter Wonderland Prom event.  Here’s one thing Drake and J. Lo have in common: Despite their fame, no one seems to want them.  That makes them perfect for each other.

    When you maintain a schedule like Drake and J. Lo’s, you’re busy all the time.  At this point in their careers, it would be crazy for either entertainer to slow down.  The music industry is not what it used to be.  Many artists are struggling to pay their bills while both Drizzy and J. Lo have mastered the craft.

    Guys and girls are posting colors on their Snapchat Stories and Facebook as a part of the relationship status game.  Unlike the fruit and animal relationship games the color game is a prank.  There is no meaning behind each color.  Females are posting their favorite lipstick colors and males are posting random colors.

    Kendall Jenner broke the Internet today after posting her cute new puppy on Snapchat.  The 21-year-old is making headlines after being spotted in Utah with Justin Bieber.  We’re hoping Kendall and Justin play a relationship status game to let us know if they’re dating.  Do you spend the holidays with a person that is just a friend?

    Justin and Kendall claim that they’re just friends but we don’t believe them.  They both need to use fruit, planets and animals to let us know their relationship status.

    In the video, Azealia explains that she sacrifices chickens in the name of brujeria.  The Harlem rapper now has everyone’s attention.  Brujeria is a Spanish word which means witchcraft in English.  From a business standpoint, there’s no one smarter than Azealia Banks.  Time is money and we’re all spending our time reading stories about Azealia Banks.

    Lady Gaga pulled a somewhat similar stunt at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.  The singer wore a dress made of meat.  It was disgusting.  Six years later, we’ve all forgiven Lady Gaga.  She has won numerous awards and the stunt forced us to pay her attention.

    As the tweet above explains, Azealia’s timing couldn’t have been better.  Media outlets that were focused on creating content that summarizes 2016 have shifted their attention to Banks.

    Probability the Rapper aka Taylor Bennett, is Chance the Rapper’s younger brother.  Taylor was with President Obama’s daughter, Malia, when she got caught smoking weed.  A genius called the rapper “Probability” and broke the Internet.  Scroll down to see some of the funniest Twitter reactions we could find.

    Chance the Rapper made headlines after revealing his plans to move to New Zealand.  The rapper recently performed in the country, headlining the Rhythm and Vines Festival.  He loved New Zealand and explained his plans to move there with his mother.  The statement earned him a Twitter moment.  While New Zealand’s pretty cool, I guess, Chance’s brother, Probability the Rapper, is breaking the Internet.
