    On Saturday night Katy Perry accepted the National Equality Award at the Human Rights campaign Gala where she gave a speech about struggling as a youth with her bisexuality due to both of her parents being Pentecostal pastors. The newly single pop star revealed that when she discovered that she also liked women she attended conversion camps to “pray the gay away“.

    Perry actually debuted as a gospel singer but when she was introduced to more people in the industry her mindset started to change. In her speech the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer stated “I found my gift and my gift introduced me to people outside my bubble and my bubble started to burst. These people were nothing like I had been taught to fear. They were the most free, strong, kind and inclusive people I have ever met,” the pop princess went on to say “I have to stand up for what I feel is true and that is equality and justice for all, period.”
    Katy Perry is a huge LGBTQ advocate and hopefully her story will resonate with anyone who needs to hear that it’s okay to be yourself.

    Daniel is young, giving her time to document how her life changes over the years.  Her reality series could start ratchet and five years later viewers would love to see her learning from her mistakes.

    Danielle Doesn’t Hang Out With Kodak Black

    Danielle appeared in Kodak Black’s video for “Everything 1K” but Kodak was not in the video.  Danielle’s age is most likely the reason the rapper decided not to appear in the video.
    Although Kodak Black was not in the video, there were rumors about him and Danielle hanging out.  In the video above, Danielle squashes those rumors.  She didn’t know how to act on Dr. Phil but she knows her boundaries.  She says that she doesn’t hang out with Kodak because he’s 19.

    In the video above, Danielle also explains that she’s not a rapper.  She clearly has some smart people on her team who are giving her great advice.  We’re surprised she’s finally listening to advice from others considering her appearance on Dr. Phil.

    The wait is finally over — Empire Season 3 is finally back from hiatus on March 22 for its spring premiere on Fox. It feels like it’s been forever since we last saw the Lyon family and their capital-D Drama at Empire Entertainment.

    Last time we saw the Lyons in December, Andre had finally let go of Ghost Rhonda. A scandal from Angelo’s past surfaced, thanks to Lucious and his jealousy over Angelo and Cookie’s budding romance. Jamal was headed to rehab. Hakeem and Tiana brought “Takeem” back to life and resumed their romance.

    Rodney James Hess was
    shot and killed by police officers in Memphis, Tennessee while he was driving
    to visit family living there. According to reports, he had Facebook Live going
    and the whole thing was recorded. Now, you won’t see him die in the video but
    you do hear the shots and a man screaming. Apparently, he was unarmed when this
    happened.

    Police
    officers pulled up by Rodney     while he was parked perpendicular along the
    highway. They said they wanted to see what was wrong. Officers said Hess refused
    to do what they said and he asked to speak to “higher in command” meaning he
    just wanted to speak to their supervisors.

    Officers also reported
    that Hess kept trying to hit them with his vehicle. They reported that after
    many attempts to get him to listen to them and do what they asked him to do,
    one police officer shot through the windshield of the vehicle to stop him from
    coming after them with his vehicle anymore.
    Although most of it was
    caught on Facebook Live, Hess’s family is asking anyone who has any information
    regarding this shooting to come forward.
    The family attorney
    stated that all Hess was asking for was to speak to their supervisors when he
    asked to speak to “higher command” and that he was not acting aggressively toward
    the police.
    Hess was airlifted to a
    Memphis, Tennessee hospital where he died shortly after getting there. His
    family posted on Facebook asking any witnesses to please speak up about the
    shooting of their loved one. They stated, “All we are asking for is justice.”
    Rodney Hess had three
    children ages 14-years-old, three-years-old, and 18-months-old. Hess was born
    and raised in Memphis which was not far from where he was shot and killed.
    However, he had been living in between Houston, Texas and New Orleans,
    Louisiana and was traveling to Memphis to visit family when this happened to
    him.
    The Tennessee Bureau of
    Investigation is currently investigating the shooting and will determine if the
    police officers were in the wrong for this shooting or not.

    Hess, please come forward for his family’s sake.

    We are very sad to report that Auntie Fee has passed away. The 59-year-old Youtube sensation passed away nearly a week after suffering a massive heart attack at the Harbor UCLA Medical Center.

    TMZ was the first to break the news after falsely reporting that she had passed away when she was actually on life support. Yesterday, Auntie Fee’s son released this heartbreaking statement:
    “Thank you for all the prayers and hope. It did all it can do and now God made the decision to take my mother home where it’s peace and joy and I’m okay with that. She can finally be happy. RIP mama Felicia Auntie Fee O’dell I love you and you were my twin. When you were going through it, I went through it and now it’s time for you to relax and watch me do it baby.”

    Auntie Fee rose to fame when she released a video that gave her “good a** chicken recipe”. She went on to cook “sweet things for the kids” and showed viewers how to stretch a dollar. Her uncensored and genuine personality landed her spots on talk shows and movies like “Barbershop 3”. Her legacy will not be forgotten and will continue to put a smile on peoples face through her Youtube videos.

    One of the most anticipated albums of the last six months just dropped, “More Life” by Drake, and although it totally exceeded all expectations as far as production, features, and overall vibes, it left us with more questions than answers about the Drake and J. Lo romance (formerly known as Dralo).

    In his song “Teenage Fever”, the hip-hop heavyweight sampled his ex boo thang’s hit song “If You Had My Love”. Drake definitely gets in his feelings and spits lyrics like:
    “Out of body
    That’s just how I feel when I’m around you, shawty
    Last night we didn’t say it
    But girl, we both thought it
    Why second guess? I should have stayed

    Well then it definitely seems as though someone has Drake feeling strongly about them even if it’s not J.Lo. However, on the very first song of the album, Drake mentions how he “drunk texts” Miss Jenny from the block and the texts bounce back because it was an old number. Yikes.

    Fast forward to the highly emotional song “Get it Together” and Drake pulls what some would say: a petty move. Remember the video that surfaced where Dralo appear to be at a prom with a song with both of their vocals in the background? Well the song was “Get it Together” and he replaced Jenny’s vocals with the very talented U.K artist, Jorja. 
    Well that was a roller coaster! Was Dralo a real couple? Did she really change her number and not give Drake the new one? Is that why he replaced her vocals?

    Giggs’ real name is Nathaniel Thompson, or also known as Holloman and was born and raised in the UK on May 11, 1983. He is 33-years-old. If you have heard Drake’s new album then you have heard Giggs since he is featured on the song, KMT.
    Giggs ended up on the top of the charts in the UK, before coming over to the US and making it to the top of the charts over here. He was signed to XL Recordings in 2009 and boomed from there. He is mostly known for his creative wordplay and catchphrases he often uses in his rap songs.
    While growing up in Peckham, London, he was part of the Peckham Boys gang. He was also part of the rap group, Spare No 1 and is actually the leader of the group. He plays in the group with Gunna Dee, Joe Grind, Spender, Young Giggs, Kyze, and Tiny Boost.

    Giggs dropped out of school at the age of 16. He is known as Giggs because he was nicknamed Giggler because of the way he laughed at the most unexpected things and times. However, later on, his nickname was shortened to Giggs.

    Giggs is featured on Drake’s new hit song, “KMT.”  The track is on his new More Life album.

    Did Drake steal a snippet of a song from X? Fans and critics alike are accusing Drake of sounding just like another rapper. People have gone to Twitter to blast the rapper for sounding just like X when he sings a certain song. What song is that you are wondering? It is a song off of his “More Life” album and people aren’t happy about it at all.

    Some people already think he sounds like every other rapper out there. They think he has lost his creativity. Some fans are saying he sounds like Lil Uzi Vert and South Florida Sound Clapper rapper XXXXTENACION.

    Will we see a Drake, Kanye album in the future? Kanye and Jay-Z’s bond isn’t what it once was.  If Kanye wants to do another collaboration album it most likely won’t be with Jay-Z.  While “Glow” isn’t the best song I’ve ever heard, a Drake, Kanye album would be amazing.  They’re two of the most creative rappers in the game and they both have strong fanbases.

    2. Quavo Appears On The Song “Portland”

    Drake was a major part of Migos’ initial success.  Drizzy’s “Versace” verse was a classic.  On the song “Portland” Drake teams up with Quavo and Travis Scott.  Quavo delivers the hook and the second verse.  It’s one of the best tracks on the album.  Drake starts the song off by describing the iPhone 5S that his side chick has.

    3. Drake Does Not Diss Jay-Z On The Song “Free Smoke”

    Drake says he didn’t listen to some of Jay-Z’s advice in the song “Free Smoke.” On Drake’s 2008 “Light Up” track, Jay-Z warns Drizzy that the media will come at him with silly rap feuds.  Jay tells Drake that the beef will be used as a distraction disguised as a favor.  Drake clearly ignored Jay’s advice by choosing to feud with Meek Mill.

    4. Drake Mentions Jennifer Lopez On The Song “Free Smoke”

    A few months back, Jennifer Lopez and Drizzy were dating.  Many think the relationship was a publicity stunt and it may have been.  J. Lo is now dating Alex Rodriguez.  In “Free Smoke” Drake reveals that he sent J. Lo a text message while he was drunk but it bounced back.  The bar leaves us more confused about J. Lo and Drizzy’s former “relationship.”

    To recap, Alexis Skyy dated Masika Kalysha’s baby daddy, Fetty Wap, for a while and has been going back and forth with Masika via social media for some time now although she is no longer with the “Mine Again” singer.

    The two have called each other every name in the book. Alexis thinks that Masika is just looking for a check and found it by getting pregnant with the rapper’s child. Masika thinks Alexis is talentless and has even called her a “sister wife” for shacking up with Fetty knowing that he’s still hooking up with other girls (including one of his other baby mamas). Masika has claimed to stop beefing with Alexis because she just wants publicity. Which she wasn’t wrong because she went on to date Offset from Migos and get into a messy fight with one of his ‘tings’.

    Well Alexis got the publicity that she wanted and it worked because now she’s on the show. TMZ reported that Alexis Skyy, Nikki Baby, and Hazel-E (what a trio!) all rolled up to a karaoke bar where Masika was filming. Once the singer caught wind that the group was there she refused to tape and shouted “I am not giving that peasant no airtime,” before storming off.

    You can tell that the upcoming season of the LA edition of “Love and Hip Hop” is guaranteed to be action packed.
