    Sir The Baptist – Age, Brandy, Wiki

    Sir the Baptist (William James Stokes) was born on July 2, 1987 and is currently 29-years-old.  He’s currently dating Brandy Norwood who was born on February 11, 1979 and is 38.  I was surprised they were dating considering their 10-year age difference.  In 2002, Norwood and her ex-boyfriend, Robert “Big Bert” Smith welcomed their daughter, Sy’rai.

    Sir the Baptist is Healing Hip Hop

    Sir the Baptist is from Chicago but he’s not a drill rapper.  He’s actually focused on changing the game.  Some of his musical influences include Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong.  The Baptist uses hip hop’s storytelling power to encourage people to seek the help they need.  Many of us ignore our problems until it’s too late.

    Sir the Baptist worked as a Lyft driver before his rise to fame.  In his debut album, The Preacher’s Kid, he uses religion to share compelling stories about life.  He considers himself a modern day John the Baptist.  Chicago is one of the most dangerous cities in the world.  Artists like Chance the Rapper and Sir the Baptist were sent from God.

    Did Fetty Wap Get Shot? Empire

    Fetty Wap’s character on Empire, Trig, gets shot so he’s running late to a recording session with Andre and Jamal.  The rapper, whose real name is Willie Maxwell II, did not get shot in real life.  Episode 16 of Empire‘s third season, “Absent Child” was one of the best episodes I’ve seen in a long time.

    Jamal and Lucious are finally back on the same page.  Lucious’ mother, Leah Walker, tells Lucious that Jamal is special and Lucious finally listens.  He surprises Jamal by placing images of his father, Jamal’s grandfather, in the studio.  Lucious initially wanted Fetty Wap aka Trig added to the song but after his mom’s statement Lucious decided to do the track without the rapper.

    Clair Huxtable has Baby Bella

    Initially, the DuBois family didn’t have anything to do with baby Bella being taken by Child Protective Services.  I think Angelo’s mother decided to get involved after Cookie had Angelo beat up.  Angelo is a honest person so I don’t think he’ll let his mom keep Bella away from the Lyon family.  I do think Cookie will be forced to pay for her actions.  While she didn’t throw any punches, she had Angelo kidnapped and beat up.

    I think Andre got baby Bella taken by Child Protective Services.  Anika pushed Rhonda down the stairs, killing Rhonda and Andre’s unborn child.  Andre is finally getting his revenge.

    AP Calc memes are provided in this article.  Students took the test today and created memes to show their frustration.  That was a waste of $60 if you ask me.  The test was impossible.  If you have a funny meme that we missed please upload it to the comment section below.  The stress of AP exams can be overwhelming.  Laugh at these memes to calm yourself down.

    If you have multiple AP classes, juggling exams isn’t easy.  This article is to help you laugh to keep from crying.  You are not alone! About 3 million high school students are stressing about their Advanced Placement exams.  One strategy I’ve found helpful is using my resources.  Initially, I ignored my accommodations but I’m glad I took advantage of them.  Without further ado, here’s the top 10 AP Calc memes:

    Are Phaedra And Porsha Still Friends?

    Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams are still friends.  On the finale episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha breaks down and calls Phaedra out for lying to her about Kandi Burruss.  To make the series believable, the show’s writers focused on lies this season.  Kandi is pretending to be upset but there’s no doubt about the storyline being planned.

    Phaedra claims that she told Phaedra that Kandi tried to rape her because that’s what someone told her.  The Real Housewives of Atlanta needs some new characters.  I don’t know what was more painful to watch: Kandi pretending to be upset, Porsha pretending to cry or Phaedra pretending to be confused.

    At the reunion, everyone pretends to be upset at Phaedra but I am seeing right through the storyline.  When you’re working on a reality series that has been around for nearly a decade, you run out of interesting storylines.  Porsha starts preaching to Phaedra, telling her, “We can’t play with stuff like this.” 
    Phaedra claims that she was repeating something that someone told her.  Todd claims that Phaedra made up the lie and wants to know why she repeated it.

    Angela Stanton is the author of the 2013 book, Lies of a Real Housewife: Tell The Truth and Shame the Devil.  Stanton grew up with The Real House of Atlanta‘s Phaedra Parks.  They say criminals make the best lawyers and Stanton claims that Parks is a criminal.  Stanton grew up in Buffalo, New York.

    From Buffalo, Stanton moved to Greensboro, New York before settling down in Atlanta, Georgia.  The book helps us understand Phaedra’s marriage to Apollo Nida.  He’s currently in jail on fraud and theft charges.  Parks is an attorney and claims she didn’t know about Apollo’s crimes.  That’s difficult to believe.

    Angela Stanton claims Phaedra abandoned her when she was sent to prison

    In 2010, Angela explains that her and Phaedra worked together to commit numerous crimes.  Stanton met Phaedra in 1999 and says Apollo came into the picture in 2001.  Stanton was young and was dating rapper, Drama at the time.  Drama is the rapper who allegedly threatened to blow Phaedra’s office up.

    Stanton says Phaedra gave her access to thousands of dollars.  Angela served two years in prison and says Phaedra was the mastermind behind the scheme.  The first scheme involved insurance fraud, in 2004.  In 2014, Apollo got locked up for the same exact crime.  Check out the video below for more information:

    My 600 lb Life – Kirsten Perez

    Kirsten Perez was seen on a recent episode of My 600 lb Life.  She’s 38-years-old and weighs 612 pounds.  Perez lives in Longview, Washington and can’t get out of bed.  She says she feels like a prisoner in her own body.  She can’t stand for long periods of time so she’s taking less showers.  Her mother thinks that her body will eventually give out on her.

    Kirsten is one of the saddest episodes of My 600 lb Life.  As a child, she was normal on the outside but on the inside, she felt unwanted.  She has a younger brother that was smarter than her.  She says he never got in trouble and her parents liked him better than her.  Kirsten says her father is critical of everything and she was never able to make him happy.

    Kirsten’s father, Kurt, explains that he was the strict parent.  He says that he would always voice his opinion and Kirsten didn’t like that.

    Kirsten claims that nothing she did, when she was younger, was good enough for her father.  To deal with her father’s rejection, Kirsten turned to food.

    Kirsten’s mother explains that Kirsten was 14 when she started gaining weight.  She also started doing drugs, including marijuana, acid and meth.  Her family didn’t know how to deal with her addictions.  When she was 17, she moved out.  She started living with drug dealers and had a baby.  She doesn’t know the identity of her daughter’s father.  Her daughter, Lexie, is seen on the episode.

    Kirsten’s son, Neiko, also makes an appearance on the episode.  Him and his sister were raised by Kirsten’s parents.  Neiko explains that he lived with his grandparents because of his mother’s drug addiction.  Kirsten explains that she decided to move in with her parents because the drug dealer she was living with got caught and he’s now in prison.

    Kevin Knox Decision – Kentucky Basketball Roster 2017 Recruiting

    The team’s basketball coach, John Calipari, celebrated by riding around on his hoverboard.  The Kentucky Wildcats are loaded.  They signed Jarred Vanderbilt, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, P.J. Washington, Nick Richards, Jermal Baker and Quade Green.  That’s great news for Coach Calipari considering how much talent they’re losing.

    Isaiah Briscoe, Malik Monk, De’Aaron Fox and Bam Adebayo have all declared for the draft.  Michael Porter, Jr. is the only small forward ranked higher than Knox.  Kentucky now has four dominant small forwards on their 2017-18 roster:

    • Kevin Knox
    • Jarred Vanderbilt
    • Wenyen Gabriel
    • Sacha Killeya-Jones
    This is great for Kevin Knox and the entire team.  They’ll have to work hard to earn and maintain starting positions.

    Many have compared Knox to NBA superstar, Kevin Durant.  Like Durant, Knox is 6’9″ but shoots the ball like a shooting guard.  Knox can also handle the ball just like Kevin Durant.  The NBA continues to change.  A decade ago, players Knox’s height didn’t have ball handling skills.

    The University of Kentucky will most likely win the upcoming NCAA tournament.  At 58-years-old, John Calipari’s legacy is just getting started.

    Topaze Stinton is the woman who claimed she had a baby with rapper, Papoose.  A blogger made up the story that he had a 3-year-old love child with Stinton.  Love and Hip Hop fans have witnessed how much Papoose loves his wife, Remy Ma.  I was upset after reading the rumor.  The Instagram post below show Papoose’s response to the story.

    In 2008, Remy Ma was sentenced to 6 years in prison.  She was released in 2014.  The blogger that made up the story claimed the Stinton was in a relationship with Papoose while Remy was locked up.  The baby he allegedly had with Stinton was born in 2014.  Papoose married Remy Ma in 2008, while she was in prison.

    #blacklove is INVINCIBLE

    In the Instagram post above, Papoose explains that “#blacklove is INVINCIBLE.” The rapper spent 6 years waiting for Remy therefore it’s difficult to take this fake news story serious.  In the last season of Love and Hip Hop we watched the couple’s devastating miscarriage.  Remy and Papoose have been through too much for this false rumor to receive any attention. #blacklove

    YesJulz shared a racist tweet and was dropped from multiple appearances in Canada.  The screenshot below shows her tweet.  A few days ago, Katy Perry made racist comments about Barack Obama.  Entertainers should have learned from the negative backlash Perry received.  YesJulz wasn’t paying attention.

    Women Inspiring Passion and Purpose, a group that spreads knowledge through online content and events, released a statement on Friday, explaining that they will no longer be working with YesJulz.  The Utopia Music Fest released a similar statement.  YesJulz may have ruined her career.  She relies on public appearances but no one will want to do business with her after she shared the following tweet:

    She posted a video on Snapchat, apologizing about the incident.  In the video, she admits she made a mistake and says she should have never posted the tweet.  YesJulz’s social media content is usually flawless.  She has been using each major platform for years so I was surprised to see her racist tweet.

    YesJulz claims that she was calling someone out who suggested that she wear the shirt.  Twitter users didn’t buy her excuse and called her out for posting the picture of the shirt.

    Is Beyonce having twin boys? Fans believe so.  A fake Instagram post recently went viral on social media.  The post showed Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, congratulating the singer.  Two baby boys were included in the image of the fake post.  Fans believe Beyonce is having twin boys because she wore blue shorts in the first picture she released revealing her pregnancy.  In a separate pregnancy photo, the singer wore the same earrings she wore in the “If I Were A Boy” video.

    In other Queen Bey news: Beyonce’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, recently called out a gossip site that claimed the singer had gotten lip injections.  Yvette Noel-Schure has worked with some of the most popular entertainers in the world including Mariah Carey, John Legend and Will Smith.  She has designed press campaigns for each member of Destiny’s Child.  Yvette is the mastermind responsible for the success of Beyonce’s “I Am … Sasha Fierce” press campaign.
