    Tasha The Teller, Insecure HBO

    Jay Ellis (Lawrence) made an appearance on Hot 97 where he discussed Tasha the Teller aka Dominique Perry.  Ebro couldn’t stop discussing Dominique’s assets.  In episode 2 of season 2, “Hella Questions” Lawrence tells Tasha that him and Issa got it in on the couch.  Lawrence and Tasha break up but then they get back together.

    Tasha the teller is back for season 2 of Insecure.  Lawrence is really feeling her and even took her out in public in episode 1 of the show’s second season, “Hella Great.” Issa is still in love with Lawrence and she gets excited when she receives his jury duty notice in the mail.  She figures he’ll have to stop by to pick it up…FAIL.  If you haven’t seen the episode head over to HBO to watch it now!

    Tasha, the bank teller on the HBO series Insecure is played by actress, Dominique Perry.  At the end of the season 1 finale, “Broken As F**k” we see Lawrence (Jay Ellis) hook up with Tasha and the social media response was hilarious.  We’ll provide a summary of the episode and then take a look at some of the funniest social media reactions.

    Issa (Issa Rae), Tiffany (Amanda Seales), Molly (Yvonne Orji) and Kelli (Natasha Rothwell) take a trip to Malibu to celebrate Kelli’s birthday.  Issa receives a text from Lawrence so her and Molly drive back to Los Angeles.  Issa cheated on Lawrence and has been begging him to forgive her.

    Lawrence calls Issa and then he heads over to their apartment.  When Issa arrives she sees Lawrence’s keys on the counter.  When she gets to their bedroom, all his clothes are gone except for his blue Best Buy shirt.  We then see Lawrence giving Tara the teller the business!

    I jumped to the conclusion that Lawrence and Issa were getting back together.  I was shocked when I saw him making deposits into Tasha’s account:

  • Deion Shilo Sanders – Custody Battle, Pilar

    Shilo Sanders called his father, Deion, out for stopping VICIS from sending him a helmet.  Shilo explains that his father is receiving money from the NFL concussion lawsuit yet he doesn’t want his son to be protected.

    There’s nothing worst than children getting in the middle of their parent’s problems.

    The former couple divorced in 2012.  In 2014, Pilar spent 7 days in jail for violating their custody agreement.  In 2015, Deion won over $1 million in a defamation case against Pilar.  Shilo is 17-years-old and he’s a very talented football player.  Like his father, Shilo is an extremely fast cornerback.  Unlike Deion, Shilo also plays quarterback.  He could be the next Mike Vick!

    Pilar now has full custody of Shilo and she’s clearly getting in his head.  Deion and Pilar hate each other and now Shilo hates his dad.  Children don’t ask to be born.  Parents have a responsibility to create a safe, loving environment for their kids.  Shilo will most likely experience difficulties in his future relationships because his parents have been horrible role models and all he knows is chaos.

  • Michelle Carter – Eyebrows

    Michelle Carter’s eyebrows are breaking the Internet.  First, rest in peace Conrad Roy.  Michelle was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for the horrific crime.  Conrad’s aunt says Michelle has a “damaged moral core.” Some believe that Michelle should have received more time while others think she’s mentally ill.

    Then there’s Twitter.  The social network never fails to produce ridiculous reactions on every trending topic.  People couldn’t see beyond Michelle’s eyebrows.  Some users even suggested that she should spend more time in prison for disturbing the peace with her eyebrows.

    I blame her lawyer for allowing her to show up with her eyebrows looking a hot mess.  The following tweet is hilarious.

  • Michelle Carter – Mental Illness

    Many believe that Michelle Carter’s mental illness caused her to convince her boyfriend to commit suicide.  She was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for her actions.  In June 2017, a psychiatrist testified that Carter was prescribed antidepressants that made it difficult for her to empathize and make rational decisions.  Michelle was taking Celexa, a drug that treats depression and anxiety.

    Celexa has been used in Europe since 1989 and was introduced in the United States in 1998.  Some people consider suicide when they first start taking the drug.  Carter started taking the Celexa in 2014, right before her former boyfriend, Conrad Roy, committed suicide.  Celexa can inhibit impulse control, cause sleep problems and increase sweating.

    Prosecutors presented more than 1,000 text messages that showed Carter persuading Conrad to commit suicide.  Carter’s attorney argued that Conrad would have committed suicide with or without Michelle’s input.  The following tweet explains that Carter should have received at least 5 years for her actions.

    This situation reminds us how important it is to help others.  If you have a friend or family member going through difficult times, please be careful what you say.  Your words are more powerful than you think.

  • Kid Creole Net Worth

    Kid Creole’s net worth is $500,000.  He’s the founding member of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, one of Sugar Hill Records’ most popular groups of all-time.  The 57-year-old was arrested for the murder of a homeless man.  The man was stabbed to death.  Law enforcement sources explain that the rapper stabbed the man twice in his chest and once in his head.

    The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in midtown Manhattan.  The BoomBox reports that the victim was a 55-year-old homeless man.  The man insulted the rapper, with a gay slur, leading to the altercation.  The man was taken to the hospital where he sadly passed away.  Security cameras showed the rapper running from the scene.

    This situation reminds us that words can’t hurt us but our perceptions of those words can get us in trouble.  Kid Creole will most likely spend the rest of his life in jail.  Charlamagne will probably make him the donkey of the day.

    In the late 1970s, Grandmaster Flash, Kid Creole, Cowboy and Melle Mel came together to create the group Three MC’s.  They eventually recruited additional rappers, creating the Furious 5.  They signed to Sugar Hill Records and released multiple hit songs including “Freedom” and “The Message.”

    DC Young Fly made an appearance on The Breakfast Club where he revealed that he’ll be the new host of TRL.  Charlamagne complimented him on the accomplishment and he discussed the Pentatonix.  DC Young Fly is being exposed to different genres of music and he’s loving it.

    DC Young Fly’s baby mama is model and actress Jacky Oh.  The couple recently welcomed their daughter, Nova.  Last month, the couple had a beautiful baby shower.  They started dating in 2015 and they’re both hilarious.  We’re 100% sure that their baby girl will have a great sense of humor.

    Use the list at the end of this article to rank your favorite Signed contestants.  Lenny S., The Dream and Rick Ross are doing their reality competition series different, separating themselves from the competition.  If Jay-Z did a reality show these are three people that would definitely make appearances.

    Signed is about developing artist, not discovering talent.  Many of the contestants on the show already have record deals and the series can take their careers to the next level.  Meek Mill is an artist who was already signed yet Rick Ross was able to sign him to Maybach Music, helping him take his career to the next level.  Ross is looking to do the same for the contestants on Signed.

    If Jazz Anderson looks familiar you probably watch Basketball Wives.  She’s Tami Roman’s daughter but that doesn’t mean she’ll receive preferential treatment.  In episode 2, the judges made it clear that they’re expecting greatness from Jazz.  Her and Just Brittany will probably end up fighting before the season is over.

    Jvoti was one of the first artists that was eliminated.  The rapper and singer is from Houston, Texas.  Jvoti is an acronym for “Just Vibe Out To It.” I don’t think he got enough time to showcase his talent. Give him some time, we’ll definitely be hearing about him in the future.  He’s a hustler that helps multiple contestants.

    The Dream’s wife is Lalonne Martinez.  They got married in 2014.  Lalonne is the singer’s third wife. The Dream has 8 children.  In a recent interview, he explained that he wanted to have a lot of children because he didn’t like growing up as an only child.  I hope the third time’s a charm for The Dream.  The singer was previously married to Christina Milian and Nivea.

    The Dream aka Terius Nash and Lalonne got married in San Francisco, CA.  The singer had five children from previous relationships and he has three with Martinez.  After two failed marriages and eight children, The Dream should have family life all figured out.

  • Kate Elizabeth Prichard – Gun Toting Bride

    Kate Elizabeth Prichard is the bride who was arrested for pulling an unloaded gun out of her wedding dress, pointing it at the groom’s head and pulling the trigger.  Fox News reports that the incident occurred in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  Kate’s bae put a ring on it but she still wasn’t satisfied.  What a horrible way to start a marriage.

    Kate was arrested and taken to the Rutherford County Jail.  She was later released on $15,000 bail.  Kate and her new hubby were at the Clarion Inn and Suites celebrating their wedding before things went downhill.  The couple started arguing and officers were called.  Witnesses say the bride and groom were very drunk.

    The gun wasn’t loaded.  She took it out of her dress, held it to her new husband’s head and pulled the trigger.  She didn’t stop there.  She then loaded the weapon and shot a bullet into the air, causing chaos in the hotel’s parking lot.

    Jay-Z and Beyonce’s track “Crazy In Love” would have been a perfect wedding song for the couple’s first dance.  They probably won’t breakup, explaining why the divorce rate is so high.
