    Welcome back to the Lyon’s den! One reason we have fallen in love with Empire is because of those unforgettable “Oh Shit!” moments that make us jump out of our seats.  From shootouts to balconies, Empire is full of frightening moments and cliffhangers that keep us begging for more.

    You can’t forget about the show’s initial season that included a countless number of terrifying moments.  I was scared Anika and Cookie would kill each other before Empire’s second season!

    12. Anika Kidnaps Laura. Season 2, “Sinned Against”

    Anika (Grace Gealey) is unpredictable at this point.  While we know Cookie can hold her own vs. Ms. Calhoun, we don’t think Laura (Jamila Velazquez) is about that life.  When Anika decides to put on a wig and drive Laura home we didn’t think we’d ever see Laura again! Luckily, Anika was just being nosey.

    Andre hasn’t been the same since Rhonda died.  His flying with Nessa didn’t last so I was happy to see him with Pamela Rose even though she was a cop.  Andre thought he could trust Pamela but then we found out that she was working undercover.  Just when we thought we knew it all we find out that Pamela was a figment of Andre’s imagination.

    Similar to Laura, Tiana (Serayah McNeill) is another one of Hakeem’s former baes that is not about that life.  When the blade comes out the one chick’s mouth we just knew it was a wrap for Tiana! Luckily, the girls were just trying to send a message to Lyon Dynasty and they posts a taunting video online. 

    9. Hakeem Gets Kidnapped And Beat Up. Season 2, “Be True”

    Hakeem’s baes weren’t the only ones involved in terrifying moments, Hakeem himself finds himself in the hands of the 125th Street Bulls after he is kidnapped and beat up.  The show is unpredictable so although we hope they wouldn’t kill off a member of the Lyon family’s core, anything can happen when it comes to Empire!

    8. Lucious Has A Conversation With Bunkie’s Ghost. Season 1, “Die But Once”

    Anything can happen when it comes to Empire including Bunkie returning to have a conversation with Lucious.  Lucious’ medication leads him to confess about killing Bunkie! We can’t decide which part of the scene was most terrifying: The ghost of Bunkie or Cookie almost suffocating Lucious with a pillow.


    7. Frank Gathers: The Drug Dealing Cannibal. Season 2, “The Devils Are Here”

    Lee Daniels wanted Frank Gathers to be a cannibal on Empire but Fox wasn’t having it.  Daniels wanted to take the scene to the next level and told the makeup department to come up with some human flesh.  After Fox shot down the idea Daniels went ahead and shot his concept.  After Fox found out, Chris Rock had to return to the set to reshoot the scene.  


    6. Jamal Beats Up Warren. Season 4, “The Lady Doth Protest”

    Jamal thought he finally found true love.  Warren was everything he could wish for.  He has a beautiful voice and truly seemed to care about Jamal.  Warren was living a lie and when Jamal saw him with Diana he attacked him.  If Andre and Hakeem weren’t there to stop Jamal, he could have killed Warren.

    5. Cookie Receives A Head In The Mail. Season 2, “The Devils Are Here”

    Daniels wasn’t able to use human flesh but Fox allowed him to use a human head! In the show’s “The Devils Are Here” episode Frank Gathers sends Cookie a head-in-the-mail.  After Gathers finds out that Cookie snitched on him, he sends her Jermel’s head in a box.



    4. Jamal Almost Throws Baretti Off The Balcony. Season 1, “Die But Once”

    We can’t forget about Jamal Lyon.  In the show’s first season, the Lyon brothers proved that they would do whatever it takes to show Lucious their worth.  Jamal took the crown after letting us know that he was willing to kill for the company.  When Baretti (Judd Nelson) refuses to sign off the masters Jamal lets him know he’s not playing.



    3. Rhonda Kills Vernon. Season 1, “Die But Once”

    After seeing Vernon on top of her husband, Rhonda picks up a metal candlestick and hits Vernon over the head with it.  We have found out that Rhonda has a track record of terror.  From cutting hair to her willingness to do anything to takeover Empire Entertainment.  Killing Vernon proves that Rhonda is truly “Ride or Die”.

    2. Roxanne Greeted By Vernon’s Corpse. Season 2, “Poor Yorick”

    Speaking of Vernon, who would of thought that he would find a way to make an appearance in the show’s second season.  In order to fulfill Roxanne Ford’s wishes, Lucious puts Vernon’s corpse in Roxanne’s car after they dig his body out of the ground.  The unforgettable moment is more horrifying every time I see it!


    1. Reg Visits Lucious’ Mansion. Season 1, “Sins Of The Father”

    Prior to being murdered by Rhonda, a relapsing Vernon led Reg (Olivia’s crazy boyfriend) to Lucious’ mansion.  Jamal ends up attacking Reg for what he has done to Lola but Reg pulls out his gun.  Cookie attempts to save the day but she ends up with the gun pointed at her head.  Luckily, Malcolm (Derek Luke) shoots Reg in his head before he can cause any harm.

    Chris Bosh’s mother, Freida Bosh was named in a search warrant because police received a tip that drugs were being distributed from her house.  The house is in DeSoto, Texas and Chris is listed as the owner.  The police raided the home and found drug paraphernalia.  Police think that crack cocaine and heroin was being sold from the house.

    First career ending blood clots and now this.  Although Chris Bosh owns the house police say that he’s not involved in the investigation.  Chris might want to transfer the house to his mom so he doesn’t get dragged into any of her illegal activity.  The Bosh family needs to lay low.  In 2013, the city of Dallas sued Chris’ brother, Joel for hosting illegal parties at a $2.3 million warehouse that Freida owned.

    Dallas sued to force the Bosh family to bring the warehouse up to code.  There have been multiple shootings at the property and it failed electrical and plumbing inspections.  They say real estate is a smart investment but it’s a horrible investment when you fail to take care of your property.

    Freida purchased the warehouse in 2008.  The previous owners had plans to turn it into an apartment complex and the Bosh family wanted to make it an office showroom.

    We are sad to report that Webbie is dead.

    The rapper died from complications after suffering a heart attack. He was 42.

    Webbie is not dead, he’s alive and well.  I panicked when I heard Boosie’s new song, “Webbie I Remember.” The song sounds like a track you record after your homie passes away but Boosie just wanted to show Webbie some love.  The song is from Boosie’s upcoming BooPac album, scheduled to release on December 15, 2017.

    On “Webbie I Remember” Boosie reminisces about all the good times he shared with Webbie.  The track reminds me of Lil Wayne’s 2004 hit “I Miss My Dawgs” from The Carter.  Like Wayne, Boosie gets emotional on “Webbie I Remember.” Boosie raps about Webbie’s reaction to his cancer scare and when Webbie landed his record deal with Trill Entertainment.

    Boosie also discusses Webbie’s mother in “Webbie I Remember.” She passed away when Webbie was 9 so he was raised by his father and grandmother in Baton Rouge.  Boosie and Webbie have enjoyed massive success together.  In 2004, they released their second joint album Gangsta Musik which featured their hit song “Swerve”

    Victoria Katei is the 19-year-old who was told to kill herself after she posted a selfie of herself on Instagram.  Trolls posted mean messages after she shared the pics.  The picture below shows Katei with make-up on next to a pic of her without make-up on. This is another example of cyber bullying, a serious problem that continues to haunt the Internet.

    To celebrate Victoria’s beauty, we posted her Top 10 Instagram pics.  Scroll down to see them.  Victoria is a chemistry student from Houston who loves make-up.  After sharing a pic of herself without make-up, users started posting her picture and accused her of being a catfish.

    6. When she approves Maybelline.

    Just tried out the maybelline fit me loose finishing powder in place of the NYX “stay matte but not flat” and airspun loose powder and I’m in love!😍 definitely going to be using this from now on. I used shade 30 “Medium deep” under my eyes because i like a bright under eye area and then shade 40 “Dark” on the rest of my face. Also a side note for this question I always get I use the L’Oréal total cover foundation in shade 312!! And last but certainly not last I wanted to just address comments that I’ve been getting a lot telling me to start a YouTube, don’t worry I see all the sweet comments and words of encouragement to start and hopefully by then end of the month I’ll be posting regular videos! I’m just trying to get a good quality camera first ♥️♥️

    It’s crazy to believe in a month and 4 days I’ll be turning 20 years old. Like it feels as though just last year I was 12 years old. I remember telling my parents how I couldn’t wait to be older but now that I actually am I can’t help but feel nostalgic on those simpler times. But so much has happened/changed this year and I’m so shocked yet happy about it all I’m just going to keep rolling with it.     Me being cute vs. me being cute. Recently it seems like so many people have something to say about the way I look with or without make or about the fact that I don’t post pictures without makeup. Accounts have been posting pictures of me with makeup versus no makeup telling me I’m a catfish and that I’m hideous. People in the comments telling me to kill my self because I’m lying about my looks. Telling me that no one will love me becuase I’m so ugly and have to wear makeup to cover my “real face”. And as this has happened I learned what people say about you has so much more to do with them as a person than it does you as an individual. First I want to clarify: I love the way I look in makeup and out of makeup. I don’t wear makeup to hide or to “catfish” people because I don’t give a shit what any guy or girl has to say about how I look. And I’m not going to lie it gets to me, some comments are so vile they make me cry but I always remind myself that I’m more than my looks. I’m a girl who goes to school and studies constantly who listens to music and hangs with friends im a girl who will stay in bed all day and binge watch Netflix. I’m a girl who is happy some days then angry and sad the next. I’m a normal human being.There so many girls who say they look up to me, who say they wish they were as pretty as me but looks aren’t what make you pretty. Your hobbies, your passions, and your mind are what make you who you are and being uniquely you makes you beautiful. makeup is a passion of mine and this is the platform I choose to express that and if you don’t like that feel free to unfollow because I’m never going to apologize for being me.

    Who Plays Giselle On Empire? – Nicole Ari Parker

    Nicole Ari Parker will play Giselle in episode 4 of Empire‘s fourth season, “Slave To Memory.” Nicole appears to have a relationship with Forest Whitaker’s character Eddie Barker.  The last time we saw Uncle Eddie, he was overworking Empire Entertainment’s employees.  Porsha and the rest of the company’s employees went on strike and Cookie had to fix Eddie’s mess.

    The episode summary explains that Eddie is concluding his tenure at Empire.  Now that Lucious is back, the company no longer needs Eddie’s help.  Eddie seems honest but you can’t trust anyone on Empire.  He’s a part of Lucious’ old crew and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s plotting on the Lyons.

    AzMarie Livingston is one of the many Empire actors who doesn’t get enough screen time so we were happy to see her in the promotional pics for episode 9 of Empire‘s fourth season “Slave To Memory.” Cookie and Lucious are trying to stop Diana Dubois before she can do any additional damage and it looks like Livingston’s character, Chicken will be helping the Lyons out.

    Livingston became interested in modeling when she was 9 years old yet she took a break when she was younger because she didn’t pick up as much.  Livingston attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater but dropped out to pursue her career in California.

    We know what happened next! Livingston is now on the hit show Empire and as her career has the potential to skyrocket! Livingston’s partner, Raven Symone is also enjoying a career high as co-host on The View:

    Dutchess Lattimore aired out her ex-boyfriend Ceaser with the diss song “Mad.” Scroll down to listen to the track.  The lyrics are also provided below.  In episode 1 of Black Ink Crew season 6 “A.D. (After Dutchess)” we see Sky talking reckless about Dutchess.  She tells Ceaser about Lattimore’s diss song and puts a mop on her head to impersonate her.

    Dutchess claps back by exposing Sky.  Dutchess shares a video that shows one of Sky’s sons, Genesis and his father, Big Reese.  They reveal that Sky never gave her sons up for adoption when they were babies, she lost custody of them when they were about 6-years-old.  Genesis has been in and out of jail and says that his father was the only person who would answer his phone calls.  He calls Sky out for running around naked on TV.

    Mike Epps Mugshot – Marion County Jail

    Mike Epps recently posted a picture of his mugshot from 1989.  The comedian was arrested in Indiana and spent 2 years in the Marion County Jail.  Epps explains that he was confused about what he wanted to do with his life so he turned to selling drugs.  He says that he lost numerous friends to death and life in prison and he thanks God that he made it.

    Mike Epps will be revealing additional details from his past in his upcoming book, “Unsuccessful Thug.” Scroll down to see him discuss his past on Drink Champs.  Epps tells people to go to Indianapolis and ask about him.  He says he was an unsuccessful thug because his mother raised him too nice.

    Epps says that him and a guy named Antwan robbed a woman at a Noble Roman’s pizza restaurant in Indianapolis and after they robbed her Antwan pistol whipped her.  Mike was surprised and asked Antwan why he smacked the lady while they were still in front of her.  Mike wasn’t built to be a criminal and I’m glad he chose comedy.

    On another robbery, Epps explains that he kept saying his friend’s name, making it easy for their victim to report his friend’s identity to the cops.  Epps also reveals that he was once a robbery victim. The robbers put Mike in the trunk and they were playing music.  He says when the song stopped, he beat on the seat from the truck and asked the robbers to play the track again.  That’s when he knew he was meant to be a comedian.

    Damon Dash is Stacey Dash’s cousin.  ESPN reporter, Jemele Hill recently called Stacey out on Twitter.  Stacey will appear in the movie Honor Up.  Jemele posted a pic of the movie poster which shows Stacey alongside Damon and Cam’ron.  The film was produced by Kanye West.  Jemele says that Stacey is running back to a black audience after she shamed black people daily on national television.

    Stacey appeared in the video for Kanye’s 2004 track “All Falls Down.”  Despite their previous work together, Kanye definitely shouldn’t agree with Stacey’s viewpoints.  Dame even called Stacey out and claimed that his family disowned her.

    Why did she record the film if she didn’t want to be on the poster? In 2015, Damon shared the following trailer.  The movie was originally titled Too Honorable and Stacey appeared at the end of the trailer.

    Jay-Z messed up by failing to mention Stacey’s name on “The Story Of O.J.” The track describes her disposition and she needs to be reminded where she comes from.

    Making Snapchat more personal

    Spiegel explains that Snapchat has plans to become more personal.  One complaint the company has received is that pics from your friends is mixed in with content from publishers and influencers.  You don’t consider your friends content instead you value your relationship with your friends.  Snapchat wants to separate the social from the media by reorganizing the app around your relationships.

    The tweet below explains that 8 best friends is too many.  I agree.  There was once a time when having one best friend was a social norm.  Social media has completely changed our relationships.

    I don’t think Snapchat should make any more changes.  The app has been one of the most popular apps in the app store for a long time.  If it’s not broken don’t fix it.
