  • Shay Johnson, Pleasure P – Love And Hip Hop Miami

    Shay Johnson and Pleasure P will appear on the first season of Love and Hip Hop Miami.  They are dating and I’m loving it.  You may remember Shay from the second season of Flavor of Love.  The reality series was one of VH1’s most successful shows of all time.  Johnson is over Flavor Flav and Pleasure P is a major upgrade.

    Shay Johnson was born on April 16, 1989 and is currently 28-years-old.  Pleasure P aka Marcus Cooper was born on December 27, 1984 and is currently 33.  In the super trailer below we see Pleasure P planning a comeback with his group, Pretty Ricky.  We recently watched Fizz try to get B2K back together on Love and Hip Hop Hollywood.  He failed miserably and almost ruined the group’s legacy by adding Ray J.

    Love and Hip Hop Miami will feature a substantial amount of drama.  Pretty Ricky member, Ala Diamond “Baby Blue” Smith insults Shay by asking Pleasure if he found her at a halfway house.  Johnson claps back by calling Baby Blue pregnant and saying that the group would be nothing without Pleasure.

    The super trailer reveals that Pleasure P isn’t ready for a committed relationship.  We see him kissing another woman and Shay will most likely catch him cheating.

    In the video above, Shay reveals that she lost nearly 40 pounds.  She was depressed and eating horribly.  She’s finally on the right track but Pleasure’s cheating might throw her off.  Shay was previously in a relationship with Scrappy but now he’s married to Bambi.  Will Johnson ever find true love?

    Baron Davis and Laura Dern just broke the Internet.  Scroll down to see the best reaction to their relationship.  Dern and Davis were seen kissing outside of the Beverly Hills Hotel after they had lunch.  Davis is 38 and Dern is 50.  Davis is seen holding Laura’s purse.  Can you say #RelationshipGoals!?

    Laura Dern and Baron Davis are both divorced.  Laura was married to singer, Ben Harper from 2005 to 2013.  They have two kids together.  Davis married former agent Isabella Brewster in 2014.  They also have two kids together.  Isabella and the former NBA star broke up in June of 2017.

    Baron Davis’ $65 million net worth was earned through his career in the NBA.  He played for several teams from 1999 to 2012 including the Charlotte Hornets, Golden State Warriors and the New York Knicks.  Last year, Davis announced that he wanted to return to the league.  His career ended after he suffered multiple knee injuries.  His knees are now healed and he thinks he still has some gas left in his tank.

    Laura Dern’s $15 million net worth was earned through her career as an actress.  Her parents, Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern were both actors.  Laura made her acting debut in 1973 in White Lightning.  Her mother played Maggie in the movie and Laura played Maggie’s daughter, Sharon Anne.  Laura recently appeared in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.  She played Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo.

  • Lupe Samano Now, Dead? – My 600-lb Life

    Update
    Lupe Samano is doing great.  In the Facebook post below she shares pics from 2008 to 2013, before she got her weight loss surgery.  She explains that she has come a long way and her mom would be proud.  She thanks God and her new man, Andrew Renteria.  Lupe is no longer with Gilbert.

    Lupe Samano first appeared on My 600-lb Life in 2016.  She’s not dead and now she’s out of bed.  Lupe spent over a decade in bed.  Her husband, Gilbert was her caretaker.  She had gastric bypass surgery and has lost over 400 pounds.  The new episode starts with Lupe discussing her hip pain.  She hopes that Dr. Now will be able to fix her hip pain.

    Lupe wants skin removal surgery but Dr. Now is disappointed because she hasn’t made any progress.  She was in a coma a few years back and unable to move for an extended period of time.  This caused her hip bone to start to fuse to her upper femur.  Dr. Now admits that this makes it difficult for her to move but it’s not impossible.

    Gilbert cheats on Lupe

    When we first met Gilbert and Lupe they were experiencing relationship problems.  Gilbert complained about their lack of intimacy because of Lupe’s weight.  When Lupe began losing weight, Gilbert was very happy but then Lupe’s hip problems worsened and he began flirting with other women online.  He wanted her bad, days after her skin removal surgery.  She gave him what he wanted and she ended up back in the hospital.

    Snapchat launched the 2017 Story feature for users to see their best Memories from the past year.  If you’ve been using Snapchat’s Memories feature all year, the app will show you a glimpse of your best content from 2017.  To access your 2017 Story, press the Memories button (under the circle on the capture screen) or swipe up from the home screen.  Your 2017 Story is located at the top on the app’s All screen.

    If you’re not happy with your 2017 Snapchat Story don’t panic because Snapchat allows users to edit their Stories.  There’s a small X in the top left corner of each photo and video.  Select the X to delete the content you don’t like.

    Once you’re happy with your 2017 Snapchat Story, share it with your friends.  The tweet below is the story of my life.  I shed a few tears while watching all my Snaps with friends and family members.  Snapchat’s feature reminds us to live life to the fullest.  There are so many unforgettable Memories that I have taken for granted over the past year.  Thank you Snapchat!

    I can definitely relate to the following tweet.  I’ve had a difficult week and I needed Snapchat’s new feature to remind me that I haven’t had a difficult year.

  • Xavier Barrino – What Happened To Fantasia Brother?

    Fantasia Barrino’s brother, Xavier, was recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident.  The Instagram video below shows him outside in his hospital bed.  There’s nothing more difficult than being bedridden.  Fantasia is asking fans to pray for Xavier.  The accident occurred in Charlotte, North Carolina.

    The incident reminds me of Jay Z’s nephew’s car accident.  The rapper felt like it was his fault because he bought his nephew the car that he died in.  In 1993, Queen Latifah’s brother passed away in a motorcycle accident.  These incidents remind us that celebrities are normal people who experience tragedies just like the rest of us.

    Xavier has had six surgeries since the accident.  Fantasia also revealed that Xavier will have to learn how to walk again.


    The person filming the video explains that Xavier hasn’t seen the sun in a month.  The next time you feel like complaining about something minor, think about what Xavier and his family is going through.

    Life is precious.  Enjoy each day with your friends and family members because anything can happen.  Be thankful for what you have and stop complaining about what you don’t have!

    In the video below, Fantasia explains that this has been a hard and long journey for her and her family.  The holidays have to be difficult.  The family is used to spending the holidays together at home but they are at the hospital support Xavier.  This incident reminds us that our families must be a circle of strength and love that comes together during difficult times.

    Laura Perez is maintaining a healthy weight.  She shared the picture below on Facebook on December 24, 2017.

    In the Facebook post below, Laura thanks all her supporters for helping her through her journey.  She says that without her friends she wouldn’t be able to overcome hard times.  Perez highlights an important lesson My 600 lb Life teaches us.  The most successful people on the series have friends and family members who care about them.  Your loved ones won’t let you face tough times alone.  If you’re going through difficulties make sure you’re seeking help from your loved ones.

    Just recently, we
    talked about James K from “My 600 LB Life” and how he didn’t listen to anything
    the doctor asked him to do. We talked about how James may be the most disliked
    person on the show. Now, let’s talk about Laura and her amazing transformation
    in 2015 when she first appeared on the show and weighing 541 pounds.

    Since
    the show aired in 2015     with Laura appearing in it, she has lost 300 pounds.
    She came back to the show to appear on the episode of “Where are they now?”
    This episode showed different people who appeared in 2015 and revisited them to
    see if they kept the weight off.

    During the episode of “Whereare they now?” for “My 600 LB Life, Laura revealed that she wanted to lose
    another 80 pounds. Although she looks amazing now and says she feels a lot
    better, she has decided to drop down even more.

    Laura also confessed on
    that episode that aired in 2016 that her marriage to her husband felt strained
    since she had lost all the weight and that her husband was even jealous of her
    extreme weight loss, instead of being happy for her.

  • Sean – My 600 lb Life, Brittani Now

    Sadly, Sean’s mother, Renee Milliken passed away from kidney disease on in April of 2017.  Sean is still unable to care for himself.  He had gastric bypass surgery and lost more than 300 pounds but then gained it all back.

    On Sean’s episode, Dr. Now gave Renee constructive criticism for acting as Sean’s enabler.  The video below shows Renee cleaning Sean’s open sores.  She explains that it’s important for them to be clean so they don’t get infected.

    Brittani and Sean were seen on the most recent episode of My 600 lb Life.  When we met Brittani she weighed 605 pounds.  She didn’t want her husband seeing her without clothes because she was afraid that he would be disgusted.  Brittani would think about food from the moment she woke up to the moment she went to bed.

    Following Brittani’s surgery, she began focusing on her mental health.  Her mother convinced her to see a therapist.  Brittani was a victim of sexual abuse when she was younger and food made her feel safe.  She started achieving her goals and her relationship with her husband, Bill improved.  At the beginning of the new episode, Brittani weight 375 pounds and she trying to lose more than 200 pounds.

    Sean: “My weight has given me a death sentence”

    When we met Sean he was unable to do anything by himself.  Him and his mother, Renee, make plans to move to Houston to see Dr. Nowzaradan.  He knows losing weight is the only way he can survive but he can’t stop eating.  Food is the only thing that calms him down.  Dr. Now tells Sean’s mother that she’s killing him.

    Initially, Sean weighs over 900 pounds.  Dr. Now tells him that it’s a miracle for him to be alive.  The doctor is known for telling people the truth.  Sometime his honesty can be harsh.  Dr. Now tells Sean that he could be the heaviest person alive right now.  He’s trying to inspire him to lose weight but that was a bit much.  When Sean comes in for his second visit he weighs over 1000 pounds.
    At the beginning of the new episode, Sean weighs 548 pounds and he’s hoping to lose more than 300 pounds.  His goal weight is 200 pounds.

  • Iris Ross, Anthony Milan – Vegan Chef Phoenix, Facebook Video

    Anthony Milan Ross is the former vegan chef who murdered his ex-wife, Iris Ross and two children and on Christmas Day in Phoenix.  Iris was 38-years-old.  After Anthony shot and killed Iris, he shot and killed his 10 month old daughter, Anora and his 11-year-old son, Nigel.  Anthony is a 45-year-old chef and motivational speaker.

    After shooting his wife and kids, Anthony sent his wife’s sister, Mary Wogas, multiple text messages. In the first message, Anthony revealed that he killed his wife and kids.  The second message said “with a gun.” After murdering his family, Anthony had a 6 hour long standoff with the police.

    Anthony posted a video with his son hours before he murdered him, his baby sister and their mother.  The video was posted on Anthony’s Full Flavor Vegan Facebook page.  Full Flavor Vegan is Anthony’s food line which is sold exclusively through Whole Foods.  The video shows Anthony and his son singing “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.”

    The Facebook reactions below provide insightful information related to the incident.  The first post explains the dangers of the two year window after a woman leaves an abusive relationship.  The next post proclaims that Anthony deserves the death penalty.  Arizona reinstated capital punishment in 1918.

  • Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne – Rihanna Cousin Death

    Rihanna’s cousin, Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne was shot and killed in Barbados.  He was 21 and Rihanna posted pics of him on Instagram.  The singer calls for an end to gun violence and explains that she just saw Tavon the night before he was murdered.  Alleyne was near his house when a man approached him and shot him multiple times.

    Rihanna’s call to #EndGunViolence must be taken seriously.  In 2017, gun violence increased in Barbados.  Earlier this year, the Barbados Defence Force was called upon to support the Royal Barbados Police Force.  The BDF protects national security in Barbados and is called upon in times of crisis.  The BDF has helped the police in numerous drug operations resulting in the seizure of substantial amounts of drugs.

    After being shot multiple times, Tavon was rushed to the hospital where he passed away.  One day after RiRi spent Christmas with her cousin he was murdered.  Pray for the singer.  This story reminds us that celebrities are normal people who go through pain.  The holidays are about spending time with your family members and RiRi is mourning the death of her cousin.

  • Lindy Lou Layman – Facebook, Anthony Buzbee

    Lindy Lou Layman is the freelance court reporter who destroyed expensive art work at Anthony Buzbee’s house in Houston, Texas.  Tony Buzbee is a successful attorney who has represented Governor Rick Perry.  In 2015, Buzbee was named the Attorney of the Year by Texas Lawyer Magazine.

    Lindy Layman is facing felony charges after destroying $300,000 worth of paintings and sculptures at Buzbee’s mansion.  Lindy is 29 and originally from Dallas, Texas.  She was released on $30,000 bond.  The incident occurred on Saturday, December 24, 2017.  Lindy tore paintings off the wall and poured liquid on them.  It sounds like Buzbee got caught cheating.

    Tony Buzbee, Legal Genius

    Buzbee graduated from the University of Houston Law Center Summa Cum Laude, second in his class.  After graduation he was hired by one of the most successful law firms in the nation.  A few years later, Tony founded The Buzbee Law Firm.

    Buzbee has been involved in numerous high-profile cases.  He has represented musician Jimmy Buffet.  One of his first big wins came in 2001 against Transocean.  Tony won a $75 million judgment and the payout to his firm was $18 million.
