Markel Ervin is the 17-year-old who was charged with the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Destinee Virgin. Columbus police charged Ervin with false imprisonment in May of 2018 for kidnapping Virgin in April of 2018.
Destinee Virgin was 18-years-old. Ervin allegedly shot and killed her near Macon Rd. in Columbus, GA. The incident occurred on Saturday, September 22, 2018 around 7 PM.

After shooting Virgin, police say that Ervin fled the scene in her car. On Sunday, September 23, 2018, Ervin was arrested on a misdemeanor charge. Police then obtained a murder warrant for his arrest and he was transported to the Muscogee County Jail.

The video below shows Stacey Jackson, the attorney that represented Ervin in his kidnapping case. He explains that there was no evidence that Ervin held Virgin against her will. Jackson says that there were witnesses that claim Virgin ran away from home and stayed with Ervin for several days.
Jackson further argues that Virgin didn’t have a positive relationship with her mother so she chose to stay at Ervin’s house in the past. Destinee Virgin would most likely still be alive if Ervin was locked up for kidnapping her earlier this year.

Elizabeth Rasor is Mark Judge’s ex-girlfriend who claims that he told her a different story about the horseplay that took place at Georgetown Prep. The Cut explains that Rasor exposed Judge for lying about his high school days. Judge previously called Dr. Christine Blasey Ford a liar explaining that Georgetown Prep parties were innocent.
