Entertainment Weekly reports that the season finale of Queen of the South, “Cicatriz” was full of surprises, including “El Guero” Davila (Jon-Michael Ecker) being alive! Guero is Teresa Mendoza’s (Alica Braga) boyfriend that we all thought was dead but he has returned and is now working for the DEA.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry Teresa was determined to escape and save Guero’s book. Dona Camila Vargas (Veronica Falcon) and her daughter (Sandy Valles) are at odds because Isabela thinks that her mother wanted to be a drug dealer more than she wanted to be a wife. Camila shuts her daughter down when she asks her why Epifanio (Joaquim de Almeida) is allowed to be a father, husband and businessman yet she’s being forced to choose one.

Epifanio’s men tell him that they’ve found Teresa and they take her to his warehouse. He threatens Teresa, explaining that she had one hour to reveal where Guero’s book was or he would hand her and Brenda over to his men. Teresa tries to confuse Epifanio but he sees right through it.
Epifanio then shows up to Camila’s meeting and finds out that he’s lost his empire. Teresa escapes from the warehouse and kills Gato, the disgusting man that raped her in the show’s first episode. When Teresa arrives at the farm to save Brenda, she finds her dead. We can’t wait for the show’s second season!
