Are Angela Rye and Common dating? That’s what it looks like! The CNN commentator has been spotted with the talented rapper on numerous occasions.  Angela is a lawyer and NPR analyst.  She’s currently 37-years-old and has recently been making headlines.  Last week, Rye demanded that all George Washington, Robert E. Lee and Thomas Jefferson memorials be taken down.

Last year, Common was in a relationship with actress, Regina Hall.  He has also dated Taraji P. Henson, Serena Williams and Erykah Badu.  Common and Angela would make a great couple because they’re both activist and they’re serious about change.  Common has shown support for the Black Lives Matter movement and never hesitates to speak his mind.

Angela Rye took Donald Trump’s recent comments about George Washington serious.  Trump explained that Washington was a slave owner and asked the nation if we should take down his memorials.  While most of the nation hesitated, Angela didn’t.

In the video below, Rye explains that Washington wasn’t protecting the freedom of blacks and it doesn’t matter if you think he was protecting the nation’s freedom.  She further explains how the country was built on a violent past.

Angela Rye and Common’s relationship is official.  Bossip reports that the couple was spotted at the Creative Arts Emmys.  Common has worked hard throughout his career and it’s time for him to settle down.  I would love for him to become a regular guest on Rye’s On One podcast.  They are perfect for each other and I hope he puts a ring on it!
