The “Cornflakes and the Hair of Three Men” episode of the Mom TV show featured Adam, a character who gets involved with Bonnie (Allison Janney). The two are introduced to each other thanks to a misdial which leads to a flirtatious conversation and ultimately becomes a great relationship.

If Adam looks familiar it’s because the actor who plays him is William Fichtner who also plays Jamieson on Empire. “Cornflakes and the Hair of Three Men” marked Fichtner’s debut on the show and he is scheduled to appear in a multi-episode arc.
On the show’s “Caperberries and a Glass Eye” episode Bonnie ends up going out with Adam because she thinks he’s great but she finds out that she was wrong. The following video shows Bonnie and Adam’s first date:
Fichtner plays Jamieson on Empire and similar to Adam, Jamieson does not seem to be as honest as we thought. Jamieson is controlling as proven when he attempts to scare Jamal into hiding his sexuality by listing countries where homosexuality is punishable by death.
Jamal delivers the perfect response with his song “Freedom” and we are guessing that Jamieson was behind the “Flip Flop” performance that surrounded Jamal and Becky as they were leaving Empire’s headquarters.
