What’s a Starz series, produced by 50 Cent, without Alani “La La” Anthony!? She played LaKeisha Grant on the crime drama Power and La La plays Markaisha Taylor in the Starz series BMF aka Black Mafia Family. Viewers were introduced to Markaisha in the first season of the series.
Boom, a drug supplier on BMF is played by actor Peyton Alex Smith. Markaisha is Boom’s wife. In episode 1 of the first season of the series, Big Meech and Southwest Tee meet Markaisha at Pat’s party at club Taboo. Pat, a drug dealer who gave the Flenory brothers their first shot, is played by actor Wood Harris.
At club Taboo, Meech and Tee are arguing and Markaisha interrupts and tells the Flenory brothers that they’re looking too good to be fighting. It’s love at first sight for Tee, who can’t take his eyes off of Markaisha.
In the following preview for episode 2 of BMF, we see Markaisha telling Tee that the real money is at the airport because First Class passengers tip better.
Detroit Metro Times explains that the scene was actually filmed at the Detroit City Airport and during season 2 we’ll see additional scenes that were filmed in Detroit, including locales likes the Fox Theatre, the Raven Lounge, the Roostertail and the St. Cecilia gym.
Terry is playing with fire. In episode 1 of season 2, we him fantasizing about Markaisha while he’s in bed with Lawanda, the mother of his son, Terry Jr. Lawanda is played by actress Sydney Mitchell.
In the video below, we see Tee flirting with Markaisha and they even kiss. Terry gets mad at Markaisha and his mom during the first episode of the second season because he overhears them talking about using Terry Jr. to convince him to get back with Wanda.
Are La La and Da’Vinchi Dating In Real Life?
La La and Da’Vinchi’s relationship on BMF has led to rumors that they are dating in real life. Da’Vinchi is asked about the rumors in the interview below. He explains that him and La La are good friends, denying the dating rumors.
