Alex B, Yandy Smith’s new artist made an appearance on episode 12 of Love and Hip Hop season 8, “Peace Talk.” He was born and raised in the Philadelphia area and loves performing in his hometown. Alex and the band Lil Rock have done numerous shows throughout Philadelphia and New Jersey.
Alex was a member of the band Lil Rock but now he’s focused on his career as solo artist. Yandy will use her connections throughout the music industry to make Alex a star. His appearance on Love and Hip Hop was genius, exposing him to a diverse audience. Yandy has worked with some of the most successful artists in the world including Missy Elliott, 50 Cent and LL Cool J.

It’s great to see Yandy working with artists from diverse backgrounds. Nicki Minaj recently announced that she was searching for a white rapper after seeing Eminem, Post Malone, G-Eazy, Macklemore and Machine Gun Kelly dominating the charts.
Alex isn’t a rapper, he’s a pop singer. White pop singers including Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake and Sam Smith are currently dominating the Billboard charts so Alex’s future looks bright!
