Love and Hip Hop New York reality star Amina Buddafly will appear on season 7. Amina is from Germany. Her ethnicity is often questioned: Her father is Senegalese and her mother is German. Buddafly’s love triangle with Peter Gunz and Tara has overshadowed her talent. The reality star has a beautiful voice.
The Love and Hip Hop diva began singing with her sisters, Sophie and Jazz at a very young age. Jazz is Amina’s twin sister. When Amina was 6 she started doing musicals and toured with numerous pop artists. Buddafly also joined a classical choir and started writing songs.

During the unforgettable Love and Hip Hop New York season 6 reunion Amina revealed that she was pregnant with Peter Gunz’s tenth child. Peter and Amina are no longer together but Amina hasn’t filed for divorce. It’s drama like this that overshadows Amina’s potential singing career.
In the mid 90s, Amina, Sophie and Jazz formed the group, Black Buddafly. The trio signed a record deal with BMG Germany in 1997. They decided to move to New York in 2002 where they signed a deal with Def Jam and J Records. The group eventually broke up but Amina continues to work hard to build her career as a solo artist.
