In episode 9 of Empire‘s fourth season, “Slave To Memory” we’ll finally get to hear Andre Lyon sing! The video below shows him performing “Superstar.” The song was originally written in 1969 by Bonnie Bramlett, Leon Russell and Delaney Bramlett. “Superstar” has been a hit for numerous artists including Cher and The Carpenters.
The first season of Fox’s record-breaking hip-hop drama series showed us how talented Trai Byers was as an actor. We instantly fell in love with the character as we watched him struggle through depression.
