On the first episode of Growing Up Hip Hop‘s second season, “Blinged Up, Throne Down” we meet Swizz Beatz brother, Andre King. The model and actor has a birthday party that everyone attends, except Romeo Miller. Angela Simmons was there so Romeo didn’t show up. Andre knows how to turn up, just like his brother.
At the party, Swizz Beatz takes the microphone to wish Dre a happy birthday. King explains that he’s into acting, modeling and fashion. He looks exactly like Swizz and he’s got that same New York swag. Dre describes some of his brother’s accomplishments, explaining how Swizz set new trends in hip-hop.

King reminds viewers that his brother, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, is a music mogul. Some forget that he’s been in the game since 1994. Dean was born in The Bronx, New York on September 13, 1978 and is currently 38-years-old. He began deejaying in his teenage years and eventually moved to Atlanta, GA.
Swizz eventually began working for his uncles who started Ruff Ryders. The rest includes a bunch of bass and a countless number of hit songs. Andre King wants to follow in his brother’s footsteps by making his own mark and setting his own new trends.
