In episode 4 of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta‘s sixth season we finally meet Lovely Mimi. She moved to Atlanta from the DMV and she met Tommie Lee. It was great to see the ladies in their roles as mothers instead of fighters. Mimi and Tommie’s kids hung out and got to know each other. Mimi is having difficulties with her manager, Sierra Gates.
Sierra is the owner of The Glam Shop. Mimi was a boss in the DMV. She owned her own shop so she doesn’t like listening. When you’re used to making the rules it’s hard to move backwards. Sierra is trying to to work with Mimi but they’re nothing alike. Mimi is fun and outgoing while Sierra is a professional businesswomen.
Moriah, Sierra’s marketing employee, loves Mimi. Moriah is young and loves how Mimi turns up. Moriah, Sierra and Mimi go out and Mimi quits her job at The Glam Shop. Sierra says that Mimi wants to be black and Mimi says she doesn’t have to be black to beat her up.

Miyha “Lovely Mimi” Thi Luong is seen in the Love and Hip Hop Atlanta super trailer at the end of this article. The social media star is seen meeting with Joseline Hernandez. While she gets along with Joseline, Karlie Redd is not feeling Lovely Mimi. Karlie calls her a clown and says she needs to go back to the circus.
Mimi is one of the most popular nail technicians in the world, explaining her relationship with Joseline. She also knows how to turn up. The incident described below occurred in 2016. The reality has been working on her music career and she hosts parties around the world. We can’t wait to see her on season 6 of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.

The Asian Mimi drops N bombs and a group of people tried to drop her. Myha Luong is a popular Vietnamese nail artist who is best known by her stage name, Lovely Mimi. She represents the DMV and went from a high school dropout to one of the most popular nail stylists in the world. Her hard work has earned her a role on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta season 6.
The video towards the bottom of this post shows Mimi discussing the use of the N word. She was beat up after she used the word so she apologizes and explains herself. Mimi is from a predominantly black area so she doesn’t think her use of the word is a problem. She says she will stop using the word in her videos.

Mimi’s African American husband is seen in the background, while she apologizes. Dating a black male could be one of the reasons she thought she could say the word. After her apology, a video she recorded earlier is shown. Mimi explains that she was jumped by 7 people. She points to her face to show that she is still flawless.

“You fluke as s***!” The DMV comes out, further explaining why Mimi thinks it’s okay for her to use the N word. The reality star works at a nail salon in Capitol Heights, Maryland, a town that borders Washington D.C.
