Baller Wives is VH1’s new series set in Miami. The show premieres on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10/9 C. Baller Wives is the football version of Basketball Wives. We guess they didn’t want to call it Football Wives. VH1 continues to set the standard when it comes to reality television. The Love and Hip Hop franchise recently announced that a Miami installment is coming soon!
There’s a countless number of former NFL stars that end up broke after their professional careers. I’m glad VH1 is doing their part to help some former players out. Reality television pays big money if you’re entertaining. Keep reading to see the cast of Baller Wives.
Kijafa and Mike Vick
Mike Vick bounced back from his dog fighting case and played a couple more years of football before retiring. He was a free agent in 2016 and decided to officially retire earlier this year. Mike and his wife, Kijafa Frank, met at a nightclub in 2002. They have two beautiful daughters together, London and Jada that I’m hoping we’ll see on the show!

Stacey and Chris Chambers
Like Mike Vick, Chris Chambers is a former NFL star. He played for the Miami Dolphins from 2001 to 2007, the San Diego Chargers from 2007 to 2009 and the Kansas City Chiefs from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, he married Stacey Saunders, a woman that multiple media outlets refer to as his “former stalker.”

Jeniva and Asante Samuel
Asante Samuel is a former NFL player who is looking to start a career as a professional boxer. He won 2 Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and now he’s looking for some knockouts. Jeniva isn’t looking forward to another violent sport. Asante’s 10 year football career was enough.

Miko and Brent Grimes
Brent Grimes is the only current NFL player on the series. Him and his wife, Miko, have a son together. Miko is looking to restart her career after being fired from her job as a radio host. Brent currently plays cornerback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brent and Miko got married in 2010. Miko is known as a controversial talk show host.

Kelly and Julius Jones
Julius Jones is a former NFL player who last played for the New Orleans Saints. Before joining the Saints, Julius played for the Dallas Cowboys. Him and his wife, Kelly, have two sons together. Jones doesn’t want his sons playing football because it’s such a dangerous sport. I’m guessing that’s why there aren’t many current players on the series. The NFL will be upset if VH1 makes professional football look bad.

Aja and Channing Crowder
Channing Crowder is a former Miami Dolphins linebacker who only played for six seasons. Him and his wife, Aja, end up in some beef with Brent Grimes’ wife, Miko. She is fired from a radio station that Channing works at. Crowder currently hosts “Hochman, Crowder and Krantz.”

It’s all about having fun. The following pic shows the Crowders catching some big fish!

Emmaly Lugo
Emmaly Lugo is Larry Fitzgerald’s baby mama. She gets into an argument with Crystal Marie in episode 2 of Baller Wives. Emmaly claims that Crystal slept with Larry but Crystal denies it. Emmaly is a former video model who is serious about staying fit. She has a child with Larry and another child from a previous relationship.

Crystal Marie
Crystal Marie is Ray-Ray Armstrong’s baby mama. Ray-Ray plays linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers. Crystal and Emmaly’s beef is just getting started. Ray-Ray went undrafted but has worked hard and recently earned himself a contract with the 49ers. He signed a 2 year deal for $2 million.

VH1 keeps releasing entertaining reality shows. Baller Wives has all the ingredients Basketball Wives has and more. Unlike Basketball Wives, the ballers actually appear on Baller Wives. When I watch Basketball Wives I’m always wondering which athlete each cast member had a relationship with. You don’t have that problem with Baller Wives.
