Fox Baltimore reports that one of the city’s most popular up and coming rappers, Lor Scoota, has passed away after being shot. Police are calling the incident a “targeted” shooting.

The rapper was leaving the “Touch The People Pray For Peace in these Streets Charity Basketball Game” when he was shot and killed. It’s clear that something must be done to stop the violence in the city. While the charity events are important, we must find a way to get the guns off the street.
Baltimore is not the only place where gun control has become a serious concern. The recent events in Orlando also called for change. How many lives will be lost before something is done?
The rapper was shot around 7:00 PM while driving on Moravia Road. The shooter stepped into the street and began shooting at Lor Scoota’s vehicle. The shoot was last seen wearing a white bandanna. The rapper passed away a short time after he was transported to the hospital.
