Botham Shem Jean is the innocent man who was shot and killed by a Dallas police officer. He was 26-years-old.
Fox News reports that the officer returned home from work and accidentally entered Jean’s apartment. She thought the apartment was hers when she entered it and ended up shooting Jean.

Chron explains that the officer will be charged with manslaughter. The tweet below highlights some of the obvious questions surrounding this incident.
Botham Shem Jean. This story about a cop entering wrong apartment and shooting a man dead makes no sense.

1. Why doesn't she know her own apartment? How long has she lived there?
2. Was the door unlocked? Highly unlikely in an apartment setting. Why would her key fit his door?
Along with the questions above, I also want to know what Jean did for the officer to think that she needed to shoot him? He most likely didn’t have access to a firearm so did the officer shoot him because she thought he would cause damage to her personal property.
Did the officer think that the deadly force she use in this situation was reasonable? Botham Shem Jean was mistaken for an intruder and the Dallas police officer decided to take his life. Why hasn’t she been charged with murder instead of manslaughter?
ST LUCIA (Naked Departure) — BOTHAM SHEM JEAN — A St Lucian man was killed late Thursday when a disoriented Dallas police officer, returning home from her shift, entered the wrong apartment and eventually opened fire on the innocent tenant.

The tweet above explains that Jean is from St. Lucia. His mother will have to travel from St. Lucia to Dallas to bury her son. Keep the Jean family in your prayers.
