Bridget Kelly made an appearance on episode 7 of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood‘s fourth season “Shady Ladies.” Bridget is a singer who was signed to Roc Nation. She has filled in for Alicia Keys on numerous occasions, performing “Empire State of Mind” alongside Jay-Z. Now she’s working with Ray J.
Love and Hip Hop may seem like a step backwards for Bridget but tell that to Cardi B, Lyrica Anderson and Floyd A1 Bentley. Cardi’s “Bodak Yellow” is one of 2017’s most popular songs. Floyd and Lyrica have collaborated with some of the most famous artists in the world. Appearing on Love and Hip Hop no longer means your music career is over.

The tweet below calls Kelly out for going from Ray J to Jay-Z. I think Bridget made the right decision and Lyrica and Floyd A1 Bentley provide proof.
Why on earth would Bridget Kelly go from Jay Z to Ray J?!!!! #LHHH— Carmen H. (@carmenhenry_co) August 29, 2017
In previous episodes we saw Lyrica getting on A1 about her album. He wasn’t able to work with Keyshia Cole because Lyrica wasn’t having it. Jay-Z is married to the most popular singer in the world: Beyonce Knowles. Any hit song that comes across his desk would go to Beyonce.
Bridget is Ray J’s main priority when it comes to music. Ray J’s wife, Princess, is a fashion designer, not a singer.
