    Chance The Rapper’s haircut broke Twitter.  The Chicago rapper tweeted “I got a haircut” and he received over 3,000 retweets and 25,000+ likes.  Not everyone’s happy about Chance’s fame.  Scroll to the Twitter reactions below to see some of the negative comments about the rapper’s news.

    Chance The Rapper is a big deal.  When you make history at the Grammys your new haircut is a big deal.  The rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Bennett, recently donated $1 million to Chicago Public Schools.  Chicago’s crime rate is increasing.  Innocent lives are being taken due to gang violence.

    While no one in Chicago has a clue what to do, Chance is leading by example.  Children are the future.  If kids have access to an effective education, they’re less likely to end up on the streets.  Chance fully understands this and is happy to help his city.

    Last week, Chance also showed the world that he’s a good father.  The rapper’s family life has been ridiculed so Chance decided to shut down the rumors.  The Instagram post above shows him with his daughter and her mother.

    Chance has worked hard over the past decade and now he’s on top.  He’s now looking to balance work and family, and he’s doing a wonderful job.  When you’re as successful as Chance, it’s easy to let fame get to your head.  The rapper’s not letting his success change him.

    Chance received the text message above from Drake after his Grammy win.  The text message above show exactly what Chance is dealing with.  He has a young daughter at home but one of the best rappers in the world is encouraging him to keep working hard.

    “More More More” Drake proclaims.  2017 has already been a historic year for Chance and he’s just getting started.  I guess Chance The Rapper’s new haircut is a big deal.

    Wow! Khia really wants her a** beat by Remy Ma, doesn’t she? She keeps trolling Remy Ma about her hubby Papoose on social media. Guess the feud between Remy and Nicki Minaj isn’t enough and Khia has to stick her nose in their business too. Only, she is sticking her nose in Remy Ma’s business and not Nicki’s.
    It seems that Khia has a major thing for Remy’s hubby, Papoose. Because of this, Remy is going to end up going after her next. Forget the feud between Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj because now there is going to be a huge fight between Remy Ma and Khia.
    What happened was this: Khia posted a picture of her on Instagram wearing  t-shirt with Papoose’s name on it. Wow! Some nerve this woman has to do this to Remy Ma! Why can’t she find a man that isn’t already taken, right? For real!

    Khia is even running her mouth saying that Remy Ma isn’t satisfying her hubby right. In fact, she posted on Instagram with a hashtag that said this:

    Not only this, but she has a message for Remy Ma that says:

    After a $1 million dollar donation to Chicago Public Schools, Chance the Rapper will do anything to hold on to his “good guy” image. Currently, he is fighting back against claims that over a child support battle. On Wednesday (March 8), the Chicago Sun-Times published a story alleging that the rapper was involved in a “messy breakup” with his baby Kirsten Corley.



    The story claims that Chance has not made a long-term child support with Corley. Last month the mother of their 18 month old daughter reportedly asked for temporary child support, money to buy a home, car, and furniture.



    The publication even posted Corley’s child support petition. It reads: “Kirsten is essentially being held hostage in Chancelor’s residence as, on one hand, he will not assist her with the support necessary to obtain her own residence unless this entire matter is resolved on his terms, yet on the other hand, Kirsten does not have knowledge of what specific objections Chancelor has to her counter proposal and therefore, it would be impossible to resolve.”



    Chance the Rapper responded to the Chicago Sun-Times with a brief clip on social media. In the video, Chance, Corley, and their daughter Kensil are present. Chance looks directly into the camera and says: “Y’all better do y’all jobs and stop worrying about how good my family is,” he says. “Just a friendly reminder. Don’t let anybody get between you and your family.”

    Today, March 9, 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the death of Notorious B.I.G. or what some people called him, Biggie Smalls. He was only 24-years-old when he was killed. His murder is still unsolved after 20 years.

    2 Pac Shakur died before Biggie Small did and this shook Biggie to the core increasing his anxiety. He feared he would be next since there was a war going on in their circle of friends and acquaintances. Biggie Small’s fears came true on March 9, 1997, exactly 20 years ago today, when a car pulled up while Biggie was sitting in his car and shots were fired. Biggie was hit and killed.

    How Did Notorious B.I.G. Become a Rapper?

    Biggie Small was born with the real name of Christopher Wallace. During his teen years, he was a drug dealer before he became a famous rapper. He actually spent time in prison for selling crack before he became a famous rapper.
    After getting out of prison, he met a group called ‘Old Gold Brothers’ and this is when he started experimenting on his own with music. This is when he started calling himself Biggie Smalls.
    A demo tape he made of himself rapping landed in the hands of Mister Cee who was a well-known DJ. Once the DJ listened to his music, he had him featured in the hip-hop publication, ‘The Source.’
    The featured article was noticed by the young producer, Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs who worked with Uptown Entertainment. This production company specialized in hip-hop and rhythm and blues. However, Combs decided to go on his own, starting the production company Bad Boy Entertainment and this is when he brought Biggie Smalls with him. Once this happened, he started calling himself Notorious B.I.G. and started making music with Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs.
    Notorious B.I.G. released his debut album in 1994 after singing with Mary J. Blige and singing for a film. The debut studio album that was first released by him was called, ‘Ready to Die.’

    Just when you thought the feud between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma might soon be over, it is FAR from over, actually! Nicki is so mad and embarrassed about the diss track that Remy Ma released, that the rapper is planning on releasing her own diss track against Remy Ma.
    According to a close source who knows both of these female rappers, Minaj is nervous because she knows the rap world stands behind Remy Ma. Because of this, the close source explains, Nicki now has to make her diss track bigger and even better than Remy’s. The source also says that this fight between the two ladies is “about to explode!”

    Remy Ma didn’t hold anything back on her own diss track against Minaj and this makes Nicki totally embarrassed. This is SO understandable, though! Especially since Remy Ma’s lyrics were pretty mean toward Nicki Minaj. In some of her lyrics on the diss track, she is talking about how Nicki’s a—popped out and how she is trash! For Minaj to get her back with her own diss track, she better come up with something even meaner!

    Kodak Black is in Broward County Jail where he is being held without bond.  The rapper, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, received a combined sentence which included community control and probation.  His community control started on August 16, 2016 and was scheduled to end on August 16, 2017.

    Kodak Black’s community control allowed him to travel for work and he had to take 13 hours of anger management.  Community control was established to help criminals avoid imprisonment.  Sometimes we need second chances because we weren’t quite ready for the first.  We can all learn from Kodak’s mistakes.

    If Kodak stayed out of trouble for 6 months he could have converted his community control to probation.  He’s on probation until 2022.

    Jail has been a revolving door for Kodak.  T.I. is a rapper who went through similar circumstances.  After spending years in prison, the rapper violated his probation and was sent back to jail.

    Some Twitter users are tired of hearing about Kodak.  The tweet below explains that he’s a rapist.  While he’s innocent until proven guilty, his recent actions won’t help his case.

    Rapper Kodak Black is back in police custody. Records show he violated probation for charges stemming from a May arrest that include strong arm robbery, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm by a delinquent and fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement. He is currently being held at Broward County Jail without bond. According to the warrant for his arrest, Kodak violated probation by “failing to remain confined to his approved residence except for one half hour before and after approved employment, public service work, or any other special activities approved by the officer on various times and dates, as evidenced from the pictures on video showing the offender at various places that were not approved.”
    Kodak has had legal troubles before. He was arrested in 2015 for possession of a weapon and weed among other charges. He had a similar charge in 2016 in Florida. Recently, the Miami new times asked “is he the product of larger societal problems, having been raised on a steady diet of misogynistic rap lyrics?”
    It is a fair and tough question. Should rap music be about something bigger than merely living the bling bling gangsta rap lifestyle? Should rap dare to tackle societal issues especially in our current age of Trump?

He showed up for court for a probation hearing and his Probation Officer told the judge that the rapper violated his probation.  Hours before he showed up in court, Kodak Black posted several Instagram updates.  The Instagram post below shows the 19-year-old listening to Biggie Small’s “Juicy” while on his way to court.

    The rapper violated “community control” which is the same as violating probation in Florida.  Kodak Black has not changed.  To avoid jail time he agreed to spend five years on probation.  Less than a year later, he’s violated his probation and he’s back in jail.

    Kodak should have focused on making music.  This would have convinced his probation officer that he deserved to be free.

    Instead of focusing on his music, Kodak decided to start beefing with rapper, Lil Wayne.  The New Orleans rapper has been in legal trouble and was too smart to respond to Kodak.  Young Money picks their battles strategically.  Nicki Minaj hasn’t responded to Remy Ma’s diss track, “sHETHER.” Remy Ma spent time in jail for shooting someone therefore Nicki made the right decision.

    Remy claims that Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend, Meek Mill exposed Nicki at the NBA All-Star Game.  According to Remy, Meek revealed that Nicki’s ass dropped and they couldn’t have sex for 3 months.  In 2014, there were rumors about Minaj’s implants popping during her Fashion Rocks performance.
