The rumor that Bleu DaVinci snitched on Big Meech is trending again. Bleu DaVinci, born Barima McKnight was appointed the head of BMF Entertainment by Big Meech. Digital Spy explains BMF Entertainment promoted Trina, Young Jeezy and Fabolous.
In 2008, Bleu was convicted for conspiracy to distribute cocaine and sentenced to 5 years and 4 months in federal prison. Some believe that Bleu’s sentence was reduced because cooperated with the feds.
DaVinci hasn’t been included in 50 Cent’s BMF series yet and in the video below, Bleu warns 50 Cent and Lil Meech that if they handle his name wrong, Bleu will put an end to the series:
In the video below, Bleu explains that he was a part of the Atlanta indictment therefore all his paperwork has to deal with the Atlanta indictment. He says that since he was a part of the Atlanta case, he has all the paperwork from the case and he claims that about 70 percent of the BMF members “kept it solid” and did not snitch.
Bleu has denied the rumors that he snitched, explaining that he was sentenced from the guidelines and they considered his past criminal history. As a result, Bleu received a “safety valve” which is an exception to the mandatory minimums required by federal law.
Qualification for the safety valve exception requires a defendant to satisfy the following 5 criteria:
- Past criminal record must be minimal
- Must not have been a leader, organizer, or supervisor in the commission of the offense
- Must not have used violence in the commission of the offense
- The offense must not have resulted in serious injury
- Must tell the government all that he knows of the offense and any related misconduct
It is clearly the last requirement that has led many to believe that Bleu cooperated and snitched on Big Meech. How could Bleu have fulfilled the safety valve requirements without telling the government all the information he knew about the BMF?
