Diddy Confirms Bad Boy Documentary |
The slate for next’s month’s Tribeca Film Festival is getting into formation and a new addition to the program has music fans hype!
Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs has just confirmed that Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: The Bad Boy Story, which will celebrate the first twenty years of the legendary record label will be premiering at the festival.
Directed by Daniel Kaufman, the documentary film is going to be a raw inside look at the history and legacy of the Bad Boy label as well as all of that East Coast, West Coast drama of the mid-’90s. The film will also take an inside look into the insane three-week rehearsals in 2015 when Diddy reunited the Bad Boy roster for their Barclays Center shows.

In a statement, the 47-year old mogul said, “I am blessed to be introducing our film at the Tribeca Film Festival. Tribeca brings the biggest names in entertainment and culture together with visionaries from across industries to celebrate the power of storytelling. There is no better place to share the story behind the Bad Boy movement and this unprecedented musical event.”
2017 the 20th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.’s passing, so it’s the perfect time for this film to debut.

Tribeca’s Paula Weinstein released a statement saying, “From Clive Davis, to Sean Combs, to Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather and The Godfather Part II, the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival is brimming with exciting and can’t miss special screenings and events. “With the lineup of film, music, and sports legends who are coming together to entertain and inform, this could be the most memorable year of Tribeca yet.”
