DJ Suede is being sued by Shirley Caesar over the “U Name It” challenge. The $5 million lawsuit argues that it is unauthorized to use her sermon for the challenge. Last month, in an interview on The Willie Moore Jr. Show, Caesar revealed how delighted she was about the challenge. Scroll to the video towards the end of this post to see the interview.
“I got beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes, chicken, turkeys, rabbit, You Name It!” The Gospel singer has had a change of heart since her conversation with Willie Moore Jr. In a classic case of it’s funny how money change situations, Caesar filed an injunction to have one of the DJ’s music videos removed.

Caesar claims that DJ Suede has inserted sin into her sermon. The court documents explain that Caesar’s lawyer and DJ Suede’s management team tried to come up with an agreement so the DJ could use her sermon but they were unsuccessful.

Despite the DJ’s unsuccessful attempt to reach an agreement with Caesar, he decided to release the track, violating Pastor Caesar’s brand and image.
