Drake’s dad, Dennis Graham, wore a purple suit to the 2017 Billboard Music Awards and broke the Internet. The Toronto rapper brought his dad onstage to accept one of his awards. While accepting a previous award, he gave his dad a shout out for wearing the purple suit. I love when Drake gives his parents credit.
Last year, Drake’s dad released a song titled “Kinda Crazy.” He was upset about the track’s performance and told his Instagram followers that he was deleting them if they didn’t buy the song. He reminded his friends that the track was only $1.29 in the Instagram post. Dennis can’t convince people to listen to his music but his son doesn’t have that problem.

Drake broke Adele’s record at the Billboard Music Awards. In 2012, Adele won 12 awards. Drizzy won 13. He gave Adele a shout out during his acceptance speech. We’re hoping to hear new music from Drake very soon. I think he’s currently at the climax of his career.
Drake’s big night should definitely inspire his Young Money family, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne, to get in the studio. Lil Wayne has been battling Birdman in court while Drake’s been able to focus on creating music.
