Former WCW professional-wrestler, Bishop Stevens, helped keep Lucious Lyon safe during the show’s first season.

The St. Louis native, whose real name is Steven Sharp, played Lucious’ bodyguard.  Stevens shifted his attention away from wrestling and towards acting in 2013.

Ta’Rhonda Jones (Porsha) also had a role in an episode of Chicago P.D.  Sharp’s family nicknamed him “Bishop” because he loves chess.

Bishop Stevens is a living example of one of our favorite Tupac quotes:

“I want to grow. I want to be better.  You grow.  We all grow.  We’re made to grow.  You either evolve or you disappear.”

In order to sustain longevity, you have to evolve.  Remember, what we fear of doing most is usually what we most need to do.  You either evolve or you dissolve!

As the video above shows, Sharp used to be known as the professional wrestler “Atomic Dogg”.  The former wrestler is also a motivational speaker.
