The Empire star looks great but I can understand why she doesn’t want compliments.  Some people get lazy when they start receiving compliments.  Sidibe most likely wants to maintain her new figure so compliments wouldn’t help.  The post above explains that her weight loss is her business.  She has been insulted about her weight on social media so I understand where she’s coming from.

Celebitchy reports that Gabourey “Gabby” Sidibe has found consistent work since her 2010 Oscar nomination for Precious.  The talented actress appeared in The Big C and American Horror Story.  She’s also secured roles on Seven Psychopaths, Empire and Difficult People.  As Empire‘s Becky Williams, she’s always making hilarious comments at just the right time.

According to Global Grind the Brooklyn native deals with racism on social media everyday.  She explains that the amount of hate she faces makes her fear for her safety.  Racism is not the only issue the actress deals with.  Sidibe’s weight is often discussed online.

Wetpaint reports that the actress recently showed off her sexy, slimmed-down figure at the Muse Awards in New York City.  The actress’ best characteristic is her confidence.  She has proclaimed that she is completely comfortable with her figure.

The Washington Post explains that her weight has not hindered her career therefore people should mind their business.  The article was written in response to a false story that claimed the actress lost 179 pounds in 16 weeks.  The report was created to promote a diet.

Recent pictures of the actress have shown that she is happier than ever.  Gabby has something better than weight loss, she has self assurance.  Self confidence is the most attractive quality a person can possess.  How will anyone be able to see how great you are if you can’t see it yourself?
