Hello Giggles reports that Scott Patterson, the actor that plays Luke Danes on Gilmore Girls, made a surprise visit to one of Netflix’s pop-up Luke’s Diner locations.  The 58-year-old stopped at the Comoncy Cafe located at 413 N Bedford Dr in Beverly Hills, California.  Everyone at the coffeehouse went crazy when they saw the talented actor.

According to TV Line Netflix announced that the series is returning for a short run of brand new episodes.  The four-episode revival is coming this Thanksgiving!

Not everyone was happy to hear about the show’s return.  Galvin Polone, the original producer of the series filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros. Television back in April 2016.  In the complaint he explains that the production company refuses to compensate him for the show’s revival.  He’s seeking $195,000 in damages.

Warner Bros. argues that the revival isn’t a “television series” which Polone would be compensated for according to his contract.  They claim that Netflix’s revival is a derivative work based on the television series.  Warner Bros. better be careful.  It will be difficult to find talented producers willing to work with them in the future if they are breaching contracts.
