How many kids does JR Smith have? The NBA superstar has three daughters: Dakota, Demi and Peyton.  Smith has been spending more time with his family lately.  He’s been unable to play after suffering a thumb injury.  On Friday, December 23, 2016, the Cleveland Cavaliers guard had thumb surgery.  He’s expected to return in 3 months.

In the video below, Jewel reveals that her and JR’s daughter, Dakota, was born 5 months premature.  Jewel gave birth to Dakota on January 3, 2017.  She currently weighs one pound.  The average newborn weighs 7.5 pounds.  The normal range is 5.5 to 10 pounds.

JR and Jewel need our prayers.  Advances in medicine have made it more possible to deliver healthy babies earlier.  Never doubt the power of prayer.

Demi Smith

Demi is JR and Jewel’s daughter.  In 2015, JR and Jewel tied the knot.  The Instagram video below shows Demi give her mom the ring:

Peyton Rose Smith is JR’s 6-year-old daughter.
