Matt Lauer has three kids: His son Jack is 16, his daughter Romy is 14 and his youngest son Thijs is 11. Matt’s ex-wife, Annette Roque is the mother of all 3 of his children. They got married in 1998. Annette filed for divorce in 2006 while she was pregnant with their third child. They eventually decided to stay together but Annette’s most likely reconsidering that decision. Annette was Matt’s second wife. From 1981 to 1988 he was married to Nancy Alspaugh.

Matt’s son, Jack Matthew Lauer was born on June 26, 2001 and he’s currently 16-years-old. The image above shows Matt and Jack at a New York Knicks basketball game. Matt has attended Knicks games with all of his children. Jack will most likely take the news about his father the hardest since he’s the oldest child. He may feel obligated to protect his younger siblings. I hope he gets counseling as soon as possible.

Matt welcomed his daughter, Romy Lauer on October 2, 2003 and she’s currently 14-years-old. Matt and Annette own a training ground for horses in the Hamptons and Romy rides in the Hampton Classic, one of the largest horse shows in the United States. Matt will have to work hard for Romy’s forgiveness. The love between a father and daughter is forever but Matt has made some awful mistakes.

Matt’s youngest child is his 11-year-old son, Thijs. He was born on November 28, 2006. Thijs celebrated his 11th birthday one day before the allegations against his father broke the Internet. As the baby of the family, it will be difficult for Thijs to get over his father’s misconduct. Pray for Thijs and the rest of Matt’s family.
