Snapchat is back at it again with the back at it again *in my best Cardi B voice* and this time they are introducing a game changer. With the recent changes including the introduction of Instagram and Facebook stories Snapchat has stayed relatively silent about other social media sites basically ripping off their idea but now we know why.
It was because they had a new feature they were working on lowkey. The new augmented reality based update is called the World Lens feature and it has been in the works for about a year now. What exactly is this Snapchat World Lens and how do you use it?

As described by Apple Insider, “World lenses inserts 3D assets into photos, mapping graphical objects to text to their surrounding environment.” So it’s basically like we can star in our own “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” movie, bringing animation to life and putting ourselves in the middle of it! All you have to do to activate it is to tap on the rear-facing camera and voila! Let your creativity run wild.
