The rumor that 6ix9ine is dead is false. Tekashi 69 is not dead, he’s in jail awaiting his September 2019 trial date. XXL reports that the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset Park to a federal jail in Brooklyn.

Cosmopolitan reports that 6ix9ine had a deal with Fashion Nova but the Nicki Minaj vs. Cardi B beef led the Tekashi to change his lyrics in “MAMA” featuring Nicki Minaj and Kanye West. 6ix9ine was supposed to mention Fashion Nova but instead he said “apple bottoms.”
