The rumor that Derrick Rose is dead is false. The NBA basketball player was not shot, and he is alive. Rumors regarding Rose’s death arose after a person involved in his rape case was found dead. The New York Knicks’ point guard has been dealing with a rape case. The 28-year-old’s ex-girlfriend accused him and two of his friends of rape.
The NBA star made his debut with the Knicks on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 against the Houston Rockets. He scored 16 points and 5 assists. The team is a work in progress and will continue to struggle until Rose’s case is complete and Joakim Noah fully recovers from his hamstring injury.

Detective Nadine Hernandez LAPD
Los Angeles Police Department detective, Nadine Hernandez was found dead on Tuesday, October 11 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The detective was investigating the sexual assault allegations made against Rose. Some argue that the NBA star had to be involved in the detective’s death but authorities explain that there are no signs of foul play.
Hernandez was 44-years-old. The incident is being investigated as a suicide. The federal judge presiding over the case recently issued a gag order preventing lawyers in the case from speaking to reporters. The judge took aim at the accuser’s legal team which filed a motion that included Hernandez’s letter. We’ll keep you updated.
