Foxy Brown went deaf in May 2005 but she has regained her hearing. The Brooklyn rapper was diagnosed with severe hearing loss during the recording of her album, Black Roses. Jay-Z had resigned her to Def Jam and she was excited to complete the album. Foxy left the record label in 2003, cancelling her highly anticipated Ill Na Na 2 album.

If Nicki Minaj would have released a diss track I don’t think she would have mentioned Remy Ma’s miscarriage. Foxy Brown is different. She’s 38-years-old and doesn’t have to worry about losing the major endorsement deals Nicki has to worry about. Foxy can say anything she wants.
