Bryshere Y. Gray is not gay.  The video at the end of this article shows the actor’s interview with The Breakfast Club.  Angela Yee asks him about working with Jussie Smollett and Bryshere explains that he had no problems with it.  Gray reveals that he has a cousin and they are very close.  Scroll down to see the full interview.

Is Hakeem from Empire gay? The rumors don’t stop when it comes to Empire‘s cast members.  The “One Before Another” episode left fans wondering about Bryshere Y. Gray’s sexual preference.  The rapper is not gay.  In the episode, he makes fun of his homosexual brother, Jamal Lyon.  While performing live on EmpireX.Stream, he does a fancy walk.

Bryshere is an actor and as such, he doe a great job playing Hakeem Lyon on the series.  In the words of Jay-Z, “It’s only entertainment.” Speaking of Jay, another recent rumor claimed that he was Hakeem’s father.  The rumor isn’t true.  Blue Ivy is Jay-Z’s only child.

It’s the same old story for Hakeem Lyon.  The youngest Lyon son has been dealing with immaturity since season 1 and “One Before Another” showed that he still has some growing up to do.  In the show’s second season, Hakeem understood that it wasn’t smart to listen to Lucious but he’s changed since then.

From Camilla to Tiana to Anika to Nessa, Hakeem is his father when it comes to relationships.  Lucious couldn’t be more proud of his youngest son now that Hakeem is showing him some respect.  Hopefully Cookie will knock some sense into both of them ASAP!
