Salon reports that Hillary Clinton’s running mate, Timothy Michael “Tim” Kaine has described himself as a conservative in the past. Conservatism is any political philosophy that promotes tradition. As a former conservative, I was surprised to hear rumors involving the 58-year-old being gay.
After some research I found out that the rumors weren’t true. He married Anne Holton, in 1984, and they have three children: Nat, Woody and Annella. Holton was a student at Harvard’s Law School when they met. They both earned law degrees from Harvard in 1983. The rumor reminds us that the internet is full of urban legends, misinformation and myths. If the words don’t add up, it’s usually because the truth wasn’t a part of the equation.

He sparked a bit of confusion on Friday after his remarks about abortion. The Minnesota native stated that he supports the Hyde Amendment which bans Medicaid coverage of abortion. There’s only one problem: Hillary Clinton’s campaign calls to repeal the measure.
Kaine and Bill Clinton both looked like they were fighting to stay awake during Hillary’s speech. He probably missed this important aspect of her campaign due to similar circumstances:
