Kevin Hart sent a tweet to the Starbucks in Philadelphia. The coffee shop made headlines after calling the cops on 2 black men who were waiting for a friend.
“Make This Right”
Message to the @Starbucks in Philadelphia….Our city is shining bright like a diamond right now. Please make this situation right. I repeat please make this situation right!!!!!!! Once again MAKE THIS RIGHT
— Kevin Hart (@KevinHart4real) April 15, 2018
In the tweet above, Kevin Hart advises Starbucks to make this situation right. The Philadelphia Eagles won the 2018 Super Bowl and the Villanova Wildcats won the 2018 NCAA Tournament. The Philadelphia 76ers are also playing great. They defeated the Miami Heat in the first game of their playoff series.
Coincidentally, one of Hart’s funniest jokes is about Starbucks:
Russell Simmons To Kevin Hart
It’s difficult to fully respect Hart although he’s sending the right message. The comedian’s recent cheating scandal makes it hard to take him serious.
While Kevin’s situation was bad, Russell Simmons was dragged by the #MeToo movement making it impossible to take the music executive serious. In the Instagram post above, Simmons demands the following:
- Manager fired
- 2 black men paid
- Proper apology
Starbucks CEO Apologizes
Slate reports that the CEO of Starbucks, Kevin Johnson has apologized for the incident. In a statement on the company’s website, Johnson explains that the store manager didn’t want the men arrested.
In the tweet below, Hart calls out the manager and says that he needs to take responsibility for his actions:
Let's make one thing very clear….This is not a boycott @Starbucks situation….This is horrible management. The manager on duty was wrong. It's that simple…That's who needs to take responsibility for this wrong doing.
