LaVar Ball’s wife, Tina, suffered a stroke in February 2017. While LaVar was rising to fame for his jaw dropping comments and Lonzo was impressing us with his basketball skills, Tina was in the hospital, recovering after suffering a serious stroke. Mrs. Ball was in the hospital for nearly 3 months and she was unable to speak.
In an episode of the family’s reality series, Ball In The Family we see LaVar helping Tina throughout her recovery process. A common consequence of stroke is aphasia, difficulties using and understanding language. Tina smiles when her family speaks to her but she must regain her lost language.

There are specialist that help people learn how to speak again after a stroke but LaVar refuses to hire one, explaining that he will teach his wife how to speak again.
LaVar does not credit President Trump for LiAngelo’s release after China arrest
Pray for Tina and the entire Ball family. She doesn’t need anymore stress but last week, her son, LiAngelo, stole from the Louis Vuitton store in China and the story is trending again because of LaVar.
LaVar is currently making headlines for refusing to thank President Donald Trump for helping his son, LiAngelo get back home from China. I was surprised to hear this story because LaVar and President Trump are actually very similar. They both love attention and are very outspoken. Doesn’t game recognize game?

LaVar told ESPN’s Arash Markazi that the president did not help him out.
