Lil Meech (Demetrius Flenory, Jr.), Big Meech’s son, was not in the Tupac movie, All Eyez On Me. Kendrick Lamar confused the world with a recent tweet: “Lil Meech nailed his Pac debut.” Lil Meech is Demetrius Shipp, Jr.’s nickname. Shipp played Tupac in All Eyez On Me. Kendrick just saved Shipp’s career.
Kendrick Lamar is one of the few people who said something positive about the Tupac biopic. Jada Pinkett Smith was one of Pac’s closest friends and she made negative comments about the film. John Singleton also had a close relationship with Tupac and he called out the movie’s production team. Singleton wanted to include certain scenes in the film that the production team didn’t want to include. At the end, Singleton refused to be a part of the movie’s creation.

Kendrick Lamar is arguably the best rapper alive so the Tupac movie gained some respect thanks to his positive tweet. Dr. Dre and Tupac were both signed to Death Row Records and Kendrick and Dr. Dre are close friends. Kendrick is currently signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment record label.
