Lira Galore’s father, Terrence, was recently interviewed by Iyanla Vanzant. Galore recently appeared on Iyanla: Fix My Life where she revealed that her father abandoned her when she was younger. Iyanla starts the interview strong, forcing Terrence to feel her words. She explains Chris Rock’s theory on fathering to Terrence.
According to Chris Rock, a father’s duty in life is to keep his daughter off the pole. Iyanla tells Terrence that he failed at that duty considering Lira used to be a stripper. Iyanla calls him out for failing to understand why his daughter is upset with him. Terrence tells Iyanla that she only spoke to Galore for one week therefore she can’t untangle their 22-year relationship.

Iyanla insists that she is qualified to speak about the situation because she knows what it’s like to be a woman. Terrence calls Iyanla out, explaining that he agreed to appear on the show to pour his heart out and he’s being called a liar. Terrence threatens to leave, revealing that he never committed to stay until the end.
Iyanla reminds Terrence that Lira had one abortion when she was 14 and another when she was 21-years-old. Terrence tells her to stop judging him and his daughter. Check out the interview below:
