In an interview with GQ, Quincy Jones discusses his kids. The legendary composer and record producer has six daughters and one son. He was married to actress, Peggy Lipton from 1974 to 1990 and they had two daughters, Rashida and Kidada Jones. In his GQ interview, Quincy explains that Kidada, calls him LL QJ, reminding the world that Kidada dated LL Cool J from 1992 to 1994.
In his 1998 book, I Make My Own Rules, LL explains that he was in love with Kidada but broke up with her because of her spirituality beliefs.

Quincy’s GQ interview explains Kidada’s spiritual beliefs. The legendary composer is a mad genius. He has over 20 girlfriends and claims that Stevie Wonder isn’t really blind. Quincy used to buy drugs from Malcolm X and revealed that he has tried methedrine, benzedrine, amyl nitrate and even heroine.

After breaking up with LL, Kidada fell in love with Tupac Shakur and was in a relationship with him until he died in 1996. In 1993, Tupac insulted Quincy for dating white women.

Peggy and Quincy’s other daughter, Rashida clapped back at Pac reminding the rapper that Quincy paved the way for him. Tupac eventually apologized and then fell in love with Kidada.
