Mamie Walker is the 84-year-old woman having her social security withheld by the government. WFLA explains that Walker never attended college but the government claims that she owes $224,414.50 in unpaid student loans.
Mamie Walker Didn’t Receive Her Social Security Check For February Or March
Mamie Walker didn’t receive a social security check for February 2019 or March 2019. She depends on her $1,498.50 social security check and hasn’t been able to pay her bills since the government cut her off.
Mamie’s son contacted the Social Security Administration and they explained that Mamie owes the U.S. Department of Education for unpaid student loans. In the video at the end of this article, Mamie explains that she can’t spell and wants to know what trade the government believes she majored in. She never attended college and it’s sad that the government has falsely accused her of failing to pay her student loans.

Mamie Walker Won’t Receive Social Security Until 2031
According to the letter Walker received from the government, the 84-year-old won’t receive another social security check until August 2031 for $360.50. In September of 2031, she’ll receive $1,498.50. Walker is 84 now, and in 2031 she may not be alive. That’s 12 years away and Walker would be 96. Fortune reports that the life expectancy for Americans is 78.7 years.
