Meek Mill’s mug shot graces the cover of his new Dreamchasers 4 mixtape. The picture is from over a decade ago. In the Instagram post below the Philadelphia rapper explains that black cops did him dirty. DC4 is the fourth installment of the Dreamchasers mixtape series. The rapper, whose real name is Robert Williams, released his first Dreamchasers mixtape back in 2011. The mixtape was hosted by DJ Drama and featured appearances from numerous rapper, including Rick Ross and Beanie Sigel.
Crazy thing about it…. It was “black cops” that did me dirty! And had me stripped of my freedom going on 11 years now! With 5 more years to go! Growing up in America as a young black kid in the ghetto is like suicide!
In 2012, Meek released Dreamchasers 2. Similar to Dreamchasers the mixtape was hosted by DJ Drama. Many argue that the mixtape was the best project of the rapper’s career.

Dreamchasers 3 dropped in 2013. The album featured guest appearances from numerous artist including Diddy, Jadakiss and Future.
