In an interview with Architectural Digest Greenleaf star Merle Dandridge explains that when she gets home after a long day at work, the first thing she does is kisses her husband. While the show is filmed in Atlanta, Merle and her husband, Christopher Johnston, reside in Los Angeles, California.
According to CBS, Regina King is the mastermind responsible for directing the show’s last episode, “Veni, Vidi, Vici.” In the episode Deacon Sykes wants Merle’s character, Grace, to preach on women’s day. Her and her daughter, Sophia (Desiree Ross) attend a custody hearing with Ray. Charity and Kevin also have a conversation about his feelings.

We’re sure that Merle and Christopher’s life isn’t half as unpredictable as Grace’s life. The image above shows the beautiful couple and there’s no hiding happiness. Look at that beautiful smile! They got married back in 2011 and are still going strong. There’s nothing like spending valuable time with loved ones and she makes it clear that she loves spending time with her husband.
