Nathaniel was born in England and is of Grenadian descent. His mother, Ann Clyne, is his biggest critic. The soccer star explains that throughout his youth, his mother worked hard to keep him away from trouble. She made sure Nathaniel made it to his training sessions at Crystal Palace and when he was 14 he signed a contract with the team.
In 2017, Nathaniel suffered a back injury and he’s expected to return in February of 2018. He’ll have to work hard to earn his starting position back because Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold have been playing spectacular.
