Rebbeca Marie Gomez aka Becky G is Empire’s new Latina Princess! She play Valentina on the FOX drama. The singer-songwriter and rapper was born in Inglewood, California on March 2, 1997. Becky from the block fits in with the Empire cast perfectly and we know Hakeem is happy that she was added this season!

In 2011 Rebbeca Marie Gomez became Becky G after laying a classic verse on Otis and dropping a mixtape. By the end of 2012 she landed a spot on Ke$ha’s single “Die Young” and by 2013 she was working with Jennifer Lopez on “Becky from the Block”. Becky G recently broke up with Austin Mahone, a teen pop singer signed with Young Money, Cash Money and Republic Records.
Becky G’s Empire appearance in ‘Without a Country’ will certainly not be her last. We can’t get enough Becky G! Empire’s newest star caught Hakeem’s attention after she refused to be a part of a group. Later in the hot tub she explains to Hakeem that she would be willing to be a part of a group if she was signed with Empire Entertainment.
We think a potential war between the labels will arise over Valentina. The 18 year shares numerous similarities with Valentina: Both are ambitious artist that will not hesitate to make their presence felt. Becky G started rapping
